I am not going tomorrow, will definitely go to Sunderland as it is a new ground for me; stopped using my season card / ticket, prefer to watch Somerset Premier league football. I went to the Barnet game on Wednesday and that on top of Luton away was / is enough for this season, after watching since the early 70s, enough is finally enough, I just cannot watch this team every week, I will watch selected matches, hope things will change. UTG Watching Since the early 70s and this team now , losing by one goal most weeks with the odd draw and win thrown in which is only in the drop zone by a point not even half way through the season in league 1 and you’ve had enough ? I think that says more about you than our club. Each to their own but what about the conference season ? All those years of struggling at the bottom of league 2 ? Surely that was worse than a relegation dogfight in league 1 in November ? Personally I’m well up for the fight, I didn’t turn my back on my club when we were two divisions below where we are now so I’m certainly not going to chuck the towel in. Well that’s made my ******* mind up. Depressed about the situation since the Hamer interview, was wondering if I could be bothered going to Charlton. Now I’m up for it!

The fixture last season in the opening game was a real downer.
A week before, everyone was full of hope that DC could build on our fairly successful spell back in L1.
Then came the stunning announcement that UWE was no longer going ahead.
Then everyone got a drenching outside the stadium.
Then we got beaten.
It's never been the same since.

One positive is that Lyle Taylor is out suspended serving a one match ban after picking up 5 yellow cards so that is at least something, he’s scored 8 goals for them so far this year and has been instrumental for them. If we keep up this excellent defensive record that we have had away from home and find a goal from somewhere we may have a chance of getting something from this.
I think it will be a harder game than Charlton are expecting and I hope the result in Tuesday will spur us on to perform well as a response.

Come on Gas 1-1 draw today I reckon. Looking at the form tables we’re mid table in the last 10 games table with W3 D3 L4 so the second quarter of the season has shown an improvement over the first quarter , if we can continue that improvement we’ll be fine. Got to keep supporting the manager and the players got to keep backing them. UTG

I think we'll put in a gutsy performance and battle hard for most of the game before falling behind to a lateish Charlton winner. Charlton 1-0 Gas.

Not a good stat that but I suppose it means nothing for todays game. 1-1 Nichols to score

If this happens, I would have to bash one off in celebration. And if it doesn't knock a commiseration one out?

Yep, no Taylor definitely will help, and they are prone to conceding so all is not yet lost!
