If our best striker can be in good form with on goal in 64 games I dont see why our manager can't be doing a perfectly fine job on 6 wins in 33.
What you see on the pitch is what counts apparently not any boring old counting system the football league tries to oppress us with.

Why then did you quote our current form in the League, FA Cup and Checkatrade to prove your point, instead of League form? A Checkatrade defeat won't get us relegated. You're being as selective in your choice of statistics as those you choose to belittle.

Aghast I didn't include ANY cup games!!! I took the last 33 LEAGUE games since the last run of 2 wins because I am trying to point out that there are no signs whatsoever that DC can turn this around and maybe 2 victories in the next two home games will be the only thing that might give us any hope.

You're being as selective in your choice of statistics as those you choose to belittle. Who do I choose to belittle? I quoted our last 5 games played in all competitions. Why is there a reason not to do that? That's not selective at all. That's the opposite of selective. Ignoring cup and trophy games would be selective.

Great report - I'd argue it's time to play your two best midfielders - Lines and Sercombe. Wouldn't have Upson in my midfield! We may get run ragged or be one step infront of the opposition! I'd take that chance on Tuesday! Yeah playing lines in the middle and wide men out wide with overlapping fullbacks is what DC success has been built on but this season he’s gone away from that. Maybe it’s the new coaching badges I don’t know but I preferred the old DC.

I’m interested to hear who could come in and sort it out. Because I’ve been thinking of managers who aren’t working at present, and for me there’s none who would actually have the club at heart. Apart from Holloway, and I don’t necessarily think he’s the answer Indeed! If "Holloway" is the answer ... What was the question??

The performance at Charlton was better than it normally is. Schoolboy defending for their first and second and then chased the game leading to their third. Charlton were okay, but not their usual standard, the 3-1 flattered them. I was slightly encouraged by the performance overall, however, the fact is we cannot score goals or pull opposition back lines apart when we are on top. This is the real worry.
As for Clarke, he still has plenty in the bank for what he has done. No way is this as bad as the lowest point in our little club's history, Alfreton Town away anyone?
For the moaners and doom mongerer's, carry on. Holloway isn't the answer.

Take away those defensive errors, again, and a draw would be the outcome. Like many games this season even allowing for the lack of goals. Fine lines.

Remember the good old days when we didn't seem to care how many the opposition scored? We just attacked attacked attacked and backed ourselves to score more than them!

He would only come here if he was given X amount to spend on transfers ( a huge amount of cash for our club ) despite his claimed * love for our* ...along with the 6 others he says the same about! DC is a bigger legend at our club.Cares so much more...and has a track record of bringing us success. DC over Holloway everyday.

Not quite sure why it was so absurd to send Bonham up in the final minute of the game. It was clearly a risk, but putting an extra body in the box could have possibly resulted in something happening. Our goal difference isn’t really a major issue currently so one more conceded isn’t exactly a disaster.

Interesting that bar Martin for James Clarke, the team Steve you suggest for the next few matches is the same that finished the Barnet game where we could barely put two passes together and were overrun by a non-league team.
Worryingly, I can't think of many alternatives though.

Worryingly, I can't think of many alternatives though. Well, Sincs, Lines, and OC have all been in midfields that have done well enough over the years. I'd be happy to go back to 2016, tonight.
