Let's all be honest. To date we have not progressed off the pitch in the pass 3 years. The new tent and bar improvements, are exactly that, improvements. This is not progress. Whilst TG seems to be increasing the revenue streams, you do have to wonder what are the others employed by BRFC actually doing? What happened to the Wembley fella, the consultancy firms? How far into doing anything did they get? Also are the funds still available for a stadium. Off the pitch other than what TG is doing, the club's remains rag bag. Until we have a training ground for the players which should be built by now and this tells me everything about the owners if they can't afford to build a training ground, they are never going to pay for a stadium. Or am I wrong and they are genuinely looking around but have the tightest confidentiality agreements on earth. I find it amazing, you can download the sky sports, bbc apps and find out about other clubs but bloody Bristol Rovers not a word. Christ there is more info about the countries nuclear subs on the internet than about Rovers top secret ground plans. I can only believe we are being led along.Genuine Question...... To what end ?

Any information on the status of the countries nuclear deterrent, I believe will either be out of date or plain supposition. Even those who work in the area will not be party to the full picture

www.change.org/p/wael-al-qadi-open-letter-to-the-board-of-bristol-rovers-football-club/u/23860806Looks like this has just ticked over 1000 signatures. Huge thanks to everyone who has signed and remember its not too late to add your signature if you haven't already. Me and Steve have arranged to meet before the Wycombe home game. I'll be taking notes and will feedback on the outcomes (if any). I'm aiming to impress on Steve the importance of the fans knowing what the boards long term plan is and how we can open up lines of communication going forward. If there are any burning questions you think I should ask, feel free to add to this thread. Cheers Tom

Cheers Tom Brilliant stuff Tom 🖒 Tommy I admit I haven't signed (laziness/apathy primary factor); however I took part in some of the meetings at the Welly when Mark Cz and Jon-the-stripe (FFFS) were investigating options of assisting the "old" board. The difficulties even then with a BoD that allegedly communicated were manifold and led to the whole thing being put to bed, I wish you well in your attempts to gain traction with this matter. Phil

Phil Fingers crossed I can make some headway. I think some basic communication isn't asking too much, but if it was that easy it would have been done already!

Cheers Tom It should be stressed about the 'quality' of communication also: make sure you mention the statement last January about the consultants, the interview with Wael in August, the Hamer interviews and the statement about the magical piece of land at Christmas. Ask Steve how all that looks from a supporter's point of view: we are being told stuff that could be made up or simply being told nothing at all. One on it's own is nothing, however when you get a years worth of these types of communications it starts to seem like a tactic. If the board want the full support of the fans (although they probably don't care) then we need communication of substance.

Who knows, they may keep coming out with these occasional apologetic statements... and adding they are working hard behind the scenes. If they have the money and want to spend it, then something should be in place by now.

The problem is that to them we are not fans, but just customers.
