Happy New year gasheads!!!!!
After my thread proved me to be in sh** hot form with us winning away and Jakubiak scoring as predicted, I thought it is only right I carry on where I left off!
Bang in form, and with confidence high. I back us to beat Burton today. Another win would cap off a fantastic Christmas and New year period.
We have the worst home record in the league, and Burton have the 3rd worst away record.
Burton also have quite a few injuries.
I'm going to predict a 2-0 home win with the Jak to score 1. Not sure about the other. Want to say Sercombe but good chance he won't start if GC sticks with the same team.

Clough is a wily character and has resorted to mind games in his pre-match interview where he subtly plays down his team's chances and bigs us up. He talks about how well organised we were at their place and how it took a last gasp goal to beat us. Also, how we have more financial clout than them, claiming Rodman chose us above them for that reason. He'll swamp the midfield to counter our high press and hope for quick breaks. If they can frustrate us long enough they could pull off a draw or even a win, but I think we'll have too much bounce for them and keep our resurgence going. We're still only two points from the drop zone and even if a draw wouldn't be a bad result, we really need a fourth win on the trot to widen the gap.

GGMi far too early for me again! Lets hope he can make it two in a row and the boys make it four. I'm a bit concerned about this one. Hoping for a 2-1 again with Jak scoring again, but suspect all the games will catch up with THD and we will draw 1-1, but I'd take that after the run we've had. UTG!
