See Scunthorpe Just signed Van Veen from Northampton for rumoured 100k Played for Scunny before. Pretty sure it was him who I saw equalise for Scunthorpe against us at their place in the first match of 16/17 season after MT had put us ahead on our return to league 1. UTG!

UTG! Yeah it was, I was at that game. All started so well and ended up getting hammered. Did you see that bloke running up and down in the Scunny end with a tag on? lol

He looked nack****! I was sat next to Scunthorpe fans who for the first match of the season asked if I was the new ST holder who would be sat next to them all season! I said no, I was a gashead. They immediately told all their friends around them but it was relatively good humoured until MT scored and we had outplayed them in the first half. It soon reverted to normal with a 1-3 defeat! UTG!

I also saw that Huddersfield were linked with Bonne in my paper. Perhaps they got that wrong and it was Koroma who was linked. Either way if PL clubs are being linked then we have nil chance of Bonne. UTG!

Orient are looking for at least a million for Bonne, so we might be able to afford his right arm but that's about it.
Even conference clubs are squeezing more out of their star players than we do.

That's what happens when you're not afraid to hand out 3 year deals to your best players - a gamble DC was always afraid to take, after he saw how it affected Ward's squad.

Two wins after seven straight defeats saw them fall into the drop zone. They look as though they want to get out of it as quickly as they fell into it.

So no rumours, no whispers, not even made up stuff?
It's going to be a fun January.

It was Buckle and McGhee rather Ward who sign crap like Matt Gill and Adam Virgo to 3 year deals. Ward didn't help his case in signing Stephen Gillespie and Alan Glow in place of Elliott richards.

Conor Chaplin [Portsmouth - Coventry] Permanent
Always been a player that has impressed me. Watched him a few times this year, not a great return on goals scored but his work rate is first class.

Started a thread on here recommending us signing him ages ago. Thought he looked good against us earlier in the season too despite beating Coventry. Looks a bit like Hazard.

Thing is though, we kinda need goals at the minute.
Cov fans don't seem too impressed with him so far.
