What about spending the checkatrade income for his wages ? No thanks. Put it towards keeping Bonham. We have Bonham until the end of the season, and then he'll have so many better offers, he'll be off to pastures greener I'm afraid. He's an ambitious player, and I can't see him staying just for the money.

Ellis is just above Kayden Jackson in the pecking order at ITFC, he’s very fast but little so nit sure if he fits what we need if they decide to keep Ellis & loan Kayden.

I'd rather have Bodin back. He's out for the rest of the season though isn't he??

They might end up back in League One given the form they’ve been in since Dean Smith left.

Only if they sell Dan Bentley who is a much better keeper than Bonham. They also have Luke Daniels on their books, the highly rated England U20 international Ellery Balcombe, Iceland U19 international Patrik Sigurdur Gunnarsson and Sweden U17 international Simon Andersson.

If they keep the likes of Dan Bentley, Chris Mepham, Said Benrahma, Ollie Watkins and Neal Maupay they should be fine.

Some of you need to get real. Coming back here to a club you’ve just left months before for a big fee ( by our standards) , because you’ve not been able to cut it at your new club .... which is effectively what some are saying. Players have egos and there is absolutely zero chance of him coming back and you can also add the snake as well. They might play at our level but neither will come back here as their first move. Maybe in future yrs but def not as a first move We sold him for 800k so I imagine he is on at least 15-25k a week probably much more, we will need to move 6 or 7 players out to afford his new salary.

I would shocked if he is on anything near 25k. More like 10k.

Re - signing Ellis. What a joke... He has had 14 starts with Ipswich so far, played 723 minutes of football and managed one goal.

Re - signing Ellis. What a joke... He has had 14 starts with Ipswich so far, played 723 minutes of football and managed one goal. I'm not suggesting that we should look to get him back, or that he would want to come, but your comment is a bit unfair. He is playing at a higher level in a poor team that probably create very few chances for any of their forwards.

Can't see Ipswich staying up, so whatever wages he is on now, surely they will decrease with relegation to L1?
