Difficult night for me. I'm working late shift, two till ten, or one to nine in good old English Sovereign hours, but I'm working with the Boss. I will be able to have the game showing on my phone, but with no sound. Then, as half-time finishes I have to drive home like Lewis Hamilton on crack cocaine, while listening to the commentary in the car. When home I should be able to watch the last ten minutes though. not sure if the game is on ifollow tonight It is for us foreigners It's always available for the 'Special Ones'.

If the money is being used to bring in a striker, it's worth the risk. At the end of the window, I will rethink if it's a good move. I think the problem we've got is the players that have left/loaned are low wage players
When you look at Bennett who is on supposedly £4k a week I wouldn't be surprised if Martin/Broadbent/Ruess/Bagdadi are not on that wage combined
and now we've got Slocombe back on our wage bill if they are adamant to stay within the FFP rules !
If we are trying to get a Proven lge1 striker & lf Wael & co will not donate then we will have to move on one or two more to give us a fighting chance
unfortunately if Bennett's wages are a benchmark then Upson/Payne/Rodman/Bonham/Craig's wages are all going to be top end I would imagine
Any chance these very unsubstantiated / thin air figures can be stopped. £4k a week sounds like nothing... Until you put it into real money - it's over £200,000 a year. Or 7 times the average wage of a worker. If we have anyone on that I'd be surprised & pretty watered off.

I can play upfront and at the back. Just not very good at football though....🙄 You could do what all good Sailors do (and some of the bad ones) and run around shouting "chase me, chase me" and distracting the CH, leaving room for Nichols to drive forward and score a hat-trick ! Anyone else have a better plan? Well I would, but all this rain tonight is going to play havoc with my hair, don’t you know. Might have to let someone else do that job tonight......😊

I always watch away games from various "locations" around the world, but recently they are getting crafty with their VPN blocking software, But never fear i have a new toy to play with which i believe gets round these clever people.......

My apologies. It did go 'cross the line' didn't it What you got against Crabs, sailor boy An Officer was conducting an All Service member briefing one day, and he posed the question: “What would you do if you found a scorpion in your tent?” A Sailor said, “I’d step on it.” A Soldier said, “I’d hit it with my boot.” A Marine said, “I’d catch it, break the stinger off, and eat it.” An Airman said, “I’d call room service and find out why there’s a damn tent in my hotel room.”
