You've got some balls coming on here and accusing us of being a dirty league 2 standard side. You gave a stand-out display of anti-football yesterday, you should have had 3 players sent off, and the only side I've seen rival your lot for fouling, cheating and play-acting was Wycombe. That arsehole with the chin Ricketts went on record afer the game moaning about the ref, our tactics, blah blah blah. Classic deflection tactics because he knew his team had acted like a bunch of c unts, on his instructions, all game. Contrast that with our managers comments that the ref was the wrong choice because he is a newbie, he actually said he felt sorry for him. What he didn't say, because he is a Gentleman, is that he was the wrong choice as a newbie to referee a bunch of cheating arsehole c unts like you. A team that would spend the whole game fouling, cheating and getting in his face the whole 90 minutes. Your nothing ing but a horrible little League 2 team from Wales with a sh** team, soulless stadium and sh** crowds. If we maintain that current form of 1.6 points per game, we would end on 57 points, which should see us in L1 next season. However our last 7 games: 7 points/ 6 games. Obviously not good enough. Last 3 games: 5 points / 3 games. A bit of a better turn of form. So where does that leave us? A definite improvement overall on DC (which pains me to say) but we're frustratingly inconsistent - the marks of a typical team in and around relegation. Our next 2 games could quite easily (and most likely) see us with 0 points at the end of it and put us a good 3/4 points from safety. However we could also easily get a couple of points out of the 2 games which would be a welcome addition in the final table. Overall though, we're definitely a harder team to beat. Squeeky bum time indeed. 2 defeats in 10 games, unbeaten in last 3. looks good to me. |

Such a horrible game Saturday and it didn’t even seem a game of football at times with shrews players taking it in turns to foul or dive and time waste and add in a bad first half unbalanced team performance by us lead to a shocker... I wanted to see how their fans saw it and funny how people watch the game differently... from their forum No point appealing, they always back the ref 99% of the time A terrible 2 hours, must’ve been about 50 free kicks in total and so little football played. Referee and Rovers fans need to realise football is a contact sport and not every tackle is a foul, or every foul is a red card I agree regarding the appeal, they may even add an extra game to the suspension these days. IMO - I think our supporters did over-react to some of what was going on - because "we" were pi$$ed off with how our team were playing again ! We were second best 1st half not because Shrews were dirty or cheating but because they wanted it more and had a stranglehold on our forwards and midfield.
YES they fouled - pushing and barging quite a bit but our players couldn't deal with it and the ref was a bit soft.
one example - Norburn did win the ball (it happened pretty much in front of me) in the Reilly challenge but the tackle was very forceful - some refs might have given a yellow and others like on Saturday didn't.
It was a crap game of football - some of you will blame the ref completely, some will blame The Shrews players and some will blame Rovers for a weak performance - the truth is probably a mixture of all of this. UTG !
