Dreadful defending for the first goal and to be honest we have been terrible. Only positive is there is 45 minutes to turn it around.

Norburn should have gone.Booked for arguing, less than two minutes later scyths down his man.Free kick to us and the ref gives him a polite talking to!

We can blame the ref as much as we like, and he has been terrible, but bottom line is we have appointed a manager who whilst he is passionate and engaging, has one tactic and one tactic alone.
Get the ball and whack it as high and as far forward as we can. Then hope the little fella gets on the end of it.
Clueless.
I'm generally an optimist about Rovers but sorry, this is pathetic.

Basically the way I see it is shrews are pressing us high up the pitch which is making us panic and hoof it long which obviously isn’t working because we’ve got two little blokes up front
Fantastic tactic from shrews and they’ve clearly followed instructions to the tee and it’s worked .
.
Cogs earns his money or doesn’t in his half time team talk .
Either he convinces his players to stop panicking under pressure and keep it fast and low under pressure telling them that they’ll tire from their pressing play and we’ll create gaps as the game goes on or except that shrews have got our number we’ll have to keep hoofing it and bring on Jak and Harris.

It’s so confusing because we actually played some excellent stuff against Southend and played the ball along the floor and I was fully expecting us to replicate it today. But instead we revert to one dimensional hoof ball once again, which has been typical in our performances at home this season, we just can’t handle the pressure put upon us by the away side. I don’t know if it’s nerves or what but it needs to improve in the second half. |

Take Lines off, move Sercombe into middle, put Clark at left back, moves Holmes-Dennis forward and replace Reilly with the War Machine
