Your comment about Obama and friends Looks like he had no involvement and is just as angry as the police chief and the police union. It's the attorney (a former Obama aid) colluding with the state prosecutor and the accused's family which stinks. |

He is now the Mayor of Chicago, as such has has roundly criticised the decision to not prosecute. So much for your comment about Obama and friends. |

He is now the Mayor of Chicago, as such has has roundly criticised the decision to not prosecute. So much for your comment about Obama and friends. So the former Obama aid colluding with the state prosecutor is of no relevance to the case? You should get over there quick and sort this mess out as there are calls for a federal investigation. You could save them wasting a lot of time and money. |

Rather than keep their heads down and accept their client has had an astonishing let off his lawyer is demanding an apology! They have some front. If they feel their client has done nothing wrong perhaps they would sanction the release of all the police evidence so everyone can see for themselves what occurred.

Is there no cctv footage of this incident? Christ, in this country, you can`t drop a sweet wrapper on the pavement, without GCHQ knowing about it. If the footage showed two blokes mincing about in Elton John t shirts, slapping Smollett with their rainbow wristbands, then you`ve got to figure that he wasn`t being entirely honest about what went on.

I see the City of Chicago is now suing this scumbag after he failed to pay his get out of jail ransom/bribe. I wonder if the new mayor will reveal more information on the decision to let him off like she demanded before coming into office? |
