Too high a mark you think? Everyone seems to have missed the 3 times in the second half he went running out from deep to try to cut out a through ball and completely missed it. My mark is based on his "performance". I will add..... He must be the most over rated player in the squad. Can't turn, can't jump, no pace, no leadership and no sign of this wonderful football brain he's supposed to have. I said after the first time I saw him play that he was crap and he has done nothing to change my mind. I've also said all season that we will get relegated with him in the team. Quite possibly the worse center half I can ever recall playing for us and I remember Adam Barrett.

I thought he had a decent game, aside from the howler and to be fair, I had forgotten the second half incident but do recall it now you mention it. Yes, he should have done better there. It is incredible how he splits opinion isn't it. I can't recall any other player doing so quite as much as he does. I really rate him and think he has rarely let us down. His distribution isn't great of course, but he can do what he is primarily there to do...defend. I genuinely can't think of a better centre half since Steve Elliott. All opinions though! UTG

Amazing how Tom Beckenbauer and Tony Craig divide opinion on this forum. The wily old fox and the young Welsh international. Craig is a seasoned journeyman footballer, in all honesty could you say that about Tom. The Welshman seems to have stood still, and not matured into the Steve Elliott he thinks he is. For me, both are weak links who can each be exposed in a second. UTG.

Distribution is rubbish but aside from that, I see him as a brave centre half who reads the game well. I'd like to think we'd be proud of someone who has come through the ranks and achieved so much with us already.

I think considering how crap we are up front and in midfield our defence has done quite well to keep the goals against column down to a reasonable level. If we could create and score goals we’d be right up there this season.
