Good job he didn’t have his contract terminated after that penalty miss Looks like my comments getting the best out of him. Maybe GC's printed it and put it up in changing room. Long may it continue 👍 Doubt it,he probably just said "keep your head up these things happen in football"

How did our centre halves deal with the 6 foot 4 Tom Eaves? It's as if defensive ability counts more than height. UTG Eaves is not very mobile . What a comparison with Johnson !

We have the fourth best record on goals conceded when compared to every other L1 club. Bonham is now the goalkeeper with 5th most clean sheets in the league, playing less games than the 4 in front of him. All credit must go to our defence, we’d be in trouble without them.

I thought eves was their best player his build up play was decent although locks and Craig didn’t give him a sniff of goal. He would be a good back up to Clarke-Harris though. Now we know for sure that a big strong commanding center forward was the missing piece we really need to find cover in the same mould. Jakubiak just puts his head down and runs he reminds me of Ellis when Ellis wasn’t very good, other than one game v Oxford where head down and running worked he’s been pretty poor most of the time.

Your last sentence sums things up nicely. The defence tonight was top class. Watched on ifollow and we kept our shape for the whole of the 95 minutes played. Thought Tony Craig had Eaves in his pocket all game.

Great news when the power came back on.... UTG Yep Henbury went out just before the goal.... was watching on ifollow as well....urrrrrrrrrrr Dam great goal BTW !

I know he was the defensive coach before, but wasn't in overall control then. I hope Kilgour is ready to step into Tom's boots for the Muff game.

Couldn't fault them and nice to see Kelly staking his claim to a spot in the first eleven too, with a really solid performance.

Yes, last 10 tonight was a proper test for our back line, just the sort of thing we’ve conceded late goals from time after time. Not today 👏👏👏

GC has definately sorted the defence. Errors which were happening on a regular basis have been virtually eliminated. Long may it continue with some big games coming up.

You just wait until we concede again and some on here will be calling for a whole new back four. Does my head in.
