They need to stay in their cage on that one - nice stadium or not £24m losses for them doesn’t make good reading either. That BBC article is a shocker & it will all implode sooner rather than later. So why do Birmingham get a points deduction and the Teds don't? supposedly Championship clubs are only allowed to lose 39m over a 3 year period. City sold Bobby Reid, Flint and whoever it was to balance the books basically

So why do Birmingham get a points deduction and the Teds don't? Don’t know how it works, but you don’t get points deducted for reporting losses. Brum reported losses of £16m in 2017 & £38m in 2018, which is described in the article as haphazard & spendthrift. They also signed a player when under a ‘soft’ embargo- whatever that is - over to Bolders on that one 😂

I can't imagine they will make good reading unless you wear red and enjoy a good laugh Never mind we must be getting close now to hearing that good news you promised we would be getting?

Reading the BBC costs article really is a joy to behold knowing that one man holds the fate of a football club in his bank account. The 6th largest operating losses, 6th for championship players costs as % of income, 14th in the table of biggest loss making clubs in all of Britain.
Lansdown is their biggest asset, but he also their biggest liability, and they have a bigger reliability on player sales than we do, Bryan Flint and Reid all examples of that, and no doubt that will happen again this summer.
I for one love that we’re not in a position to have to sell players anymore to worry about the finances, as someone has already said with JCH the ball is in our court and it’s great, he goes we get a great fee, we re-invest happy days, he stays they it will benefit the team all around and push up higher up the table, happy days.

It appears to me that selling players is the only thing that keeps our club a float. Always has been and always will be.
