His price tag is rising with each goal he scores, and it's nice to be in the drivers seat for once.
Assuming he signed a 2.5 year deal in January, we're under no pressure to sell him, and if we did it would be for very decent money.
I'm confident that even with sufficient interest we will keep ahold of him. He's in the form of his life, has a coach who believes in him, and a fanbase who have taken to him quickly. I imagine he will want to consistently prove it over 40 games and not a 15 game end of season spell before stepping up to a championship team.

It's all a bit ridiculous, he hasn't proved anything yet other than he is in the best form of his career for a few weeks. Considering he has bounced round a few clubs and not shown the form he has at Rovers that should give some of these clubs food for thought. Probably just his agent trying to drum up a bidding war at the end of the season. Anyway, if there really are some clubs that desperate out there I hope we rinse the crap out of them seeing as he has only just signed a contract with us: starting price 2 million. Let's see how desperate they are. Knowing us we will flog him for 500k payable in installments

Although to be fair when he signed on a free transfer, of his agent said we want a clause that if a championship club comes in for him, you have to accept the offer, we would have said yes. As we got him for nothing. Hopefully they didn't ask for such a clause.

We have signed him right? Not on loan or anything?

Only the Gas could sign a player in January and have championship clubs ‘circling’ in late March!! Can’t we just enjoy someone doing their job for us very well for longer than two months without speculation about him going? I’ve a feeling it’s going to be a long pre season..

We have signed him right? Not on loan or anything? Yes, he signed a contract. No details were released at the time, although Mark Robins at Coventry said the contract was one which would set him up for life. He was obviously talking out of his proverbial there.

Unfortunately, unless Wael ups his salary to what other Clubs can offer him, he's gone.

Yeah it's really tiresome, especially when it's not like he was a hot-shot before. Out of the blue he starts scoring goals consistently for 2 months and the Championship clubs are preparing bids. I really hope we take a stand over this for a change and do our best to hang on to him, especially considering how we have lost our goalscorers at the first sign of a bit of form previously. I stand by my assertion that it's probably agent talk at this stage though.

Always only a matter of time before these rumours started... long may they continue though because it means his goals will still be firing us up the table!

Every time Clark-Harris scores a goal the Al-Qadi's just add a tenner onto his price tag. It must be up near £100 at the moment.

Unless he gets his head turned by all the rumours and the dreams of playing in the Championship and earning more money. Then his concentration isn't on our games, he stops scoring goals and we end up back in the sh**.
