your right it is not all their income but the bank does appear to be their main earner. I just get the feeling for the time being we are lumbered with AQ's and there lack of major spending power and they are lumbered with the club and it's debt. Fans need to decide what they want. Most fans moan about Salford, Man City etc. But then they moan they want us to be the same as those clubs. We are spending the maximum allowed for SCMP. The budget did go up, due to the increased revenue, from better sponsorship deals and sponsor's. So they are trying to do it the right way. Training ground was put on hold, until they can agree a stadium deal. I have no problem with that. Where we train now, is not bad for this level anyway. When we are already losing millions a season, I wouldn't add millions to that. Until we have further revenue streams confirmed. We are only in serious problems, if the family decide enough, is enough. With all the abuse they get, I wouldn't blame them for walking away. But most due to the things they said they would do and haven’t done & then going so very quiet and using non disclosure. I will say that there is no need for the vile stuff but serious questions need answering but we are getting close to nothing and are back to where we were, when Nick Higgs was chairman.

That's the issue though, are they even trying to agree a stadium deal or are they trying to find the nearest exit door? As far as SCMP that's just a smoke scene to hide behind to stop any progress, I bet the ALQ's wouldn't be worry about that if we were playing in a stadium capable of holdong Championship football! SCMP is not a smoke screen. Yes they could gift money every season, but then that's a sugar daddy, that fans moan about. That's my point. We are already losing millions every season, so they don't have to spend the maximum allowed amount. They could easily spend less, so we didn't lose as much.

We narrowly escaped relegation this season, spending even less on the playing budget would probably guarantee us relegation next season, it's nonsense to suggest they could easily spend less (apart from on the London office!).

The only fans that moan about it are the ones that don't have one....

We had a mid table budget lol. I'm not suggesting we would do well. But if we don't want to lose millions every season, we would have to spend less!!! Point I'm making is they spend a lot already.

I’ve been pushing Twentyman for ages to get Wael or the Chairman or CEO onto Having a Gas. He says he keeps asking. It is the perfect platform to open up a discussion and to keep the fans informed, to answer questions and to take suggestions to improve the club.I honestly think they are scared to death to be honest where bad news is concerned and the collapse of the UWE and the mothballing of the Colony site are perfect examples of stuff just dragging on and on. Same as Higgs and Watola with the UWE.

Went go on and repeat yourself time and time again, when no one listens and twists the answers anyway??

Different to letting fans have the chance to ask questions.

Why do you need a radio phone in???

Coventry City player budget for last season was the money they received from the sale of their star striker from their promotion season . They landed up well clear of us on a lot lower budget as did Blackpool and probably a few more clubs so I suppose if you have a half decent manager who spends his transfer money wisely then Rovers could do better next season on a lower budget, it not just down to money but good management of funds.

No. Shareholders were asked to email the auditors to get a copy. The reply I got was that they are nearing completion...

I met Wael's Dad and Mum when they visited the Mem his Mum had a huge diamond ring on her finger, it would have probably bought us a new stand!. The thing is his Dad is the one with the money and I doubt either of his parents have much interest league 1 football, and would be unlikely to put money into building a new stadium unless it is part of a much larger complex with perhaps a hotel and conference centre which would bring them a profit. Why would they want to put money into a loss making stadium. They brought in experts from Wembley and had a feasibility study carried out, UWE design in is present form wasn't feasible and eventually the AQ'S Pulled out, so they aren't going to make that mistake again. Wael bought in TG and have tried to cut losses, it could take years for Wael to find a site, get planning and find investment to build the sort of stadium complex he wants.

I can't be bothered to trawl back and see who insulted who first and I don't really care I only seen the comment above. My view is that when a poster resorts to personal insults they have lost the argument and responding in kind is just as bad. Personally if I don't agree with posters on here I agree to dissagree and if what they post annoys me I block their posts so that I don't see them. The last thing I would want to do if someone had upset me on here is to meet them for both of our sakes. What a stupid post ! If you can’t be bothered to trawl back through previous posts to see why I’ve said what I’ve said then don’t comment on my replies to Henbury. To be fair If you are getting offended on somebody else’s behalf and you genuinely think that me calling another poster a sh** stirring wum is an insult then perhaps a forum isn’t the best place for you , and yes if you’d rather me say this to you in person I would happily oblige. No thanks, but we can still be forum buddies.

My Gaschat experience is about to get much better! Click on your profile at the top of the page and then click on the privacy tab. Near the bottom of this page you will see a block option. Hope that helps.

But over time a decent budget usually means a better league position, just look at last seasons top 7 as evidence. If not then surely every club would just start living within their means.
