I met Wael's Dad and Mum when they visited the Mem his Mum had a huge diamond ring on her finger, it would have probably bought us a new stand!. The thing is his Dad is the one with the money and I doubt either of his parents have much interest league 1 football, and would be unlikely to put money into building a new stadium unless it is part of a much larger complex with perhaps a hotel and conference centre which would bring them a profit. Why would they want to put money into a loss making stadium. They brought in experts from Wembley and had a feasibility study carried out, UWE design in is present form wasn't feasible and eventually the AQ'S Pulled out, so they aren't going to make that mistake again. Wael bought in TG and have tried to cut losses, it could take years for Wael to find a site, get planning and find investment to build the sort of stadium complex he wants. 50 Acres down on the Avonmouth development site next to the new motorway junction is available to our owners if we want to build a new stadium/hotel/conference facility. i don't think they want to and are looking to get out I really do not like the thought of Avonmouth as a site. It would make for a sterile environment and really bad for any kind of decent pubs or other outlets. If it was part of a regeneration project then I’d pribably view it more positively.

Pretty sure there would bars in the Ground and one or 2 pubs built to accomodate us, and until we settle in, the atmosphere will build on what's going on on the pitch. Plus, what great motorway links. Never going to happen though.

I would bet there would be hardly any moaning if we had just ended on a near to play off spot. I’ve just become cynical due to too many false dawns and won’t believe anything about a new place until I am in it and watching a real game. The other thing is that Avinmouth is getting further away from our place of biggest support. I sometimes wonder why it bothers me so much but I guess a lifetime of being a part of a wider * family * has its effects.

Patience of a saint how many failed new stadium ideas can one fan take 😁 They'll surprise us one day and without telling us build a stadium on the quiet. Then when they tell us we won't believe them even when we are sitting in it.... Mind you I will need nursey to help me get up the steps by then. Hope they have a commode section for us fans who've been waiting our lifetimes for our own stadium.....

It will be covered up and simply revealed then we will find out it was slightly bigger than the plans and have to be demolished knowing our luck
