Bonham Good game, commanded his area no chance on goals 7.5
J. Clarke shocker from a massively overrated player, must be replaced if we are to improve in attack and defence 3 Lockyer played well but not the captains performance we needed today 7 Craig played ok but more importantly bollocked those around him for a the lack of concentration 7 Holmes-Dennis not so good defending but going forward second half in particular was our best player, neat touches and some great crosses 7
Upson worked hard good control bit no penetration going forward 6.5 O. Clarke positive performance less mistakes than recent games and a fantastic goal 7 ogogo pick of the midfield covered covered so much ground but end ball needed to be more positive 7.5 Sercombe much improved from recent games worked hard great corners but still someway from his best 7
Nicholls a lack of confidence prevents him from taking more responsibility so always looks to pass rather then shoot. Needed to work harder closing down 6
JCh the man has promised to keep us up...and now we are starting to believe it. Doesn't look a natural athelete but so committed and effective if others followed his example we would be safe already. 8.5
Rodman looked confident but produced little 6 Sinclair worked hard but no end product 6 Jacubiak helped create the winner but NOLE to judge
Crowd quiet but sang a few songs 6 Ref lenient booked our players when they deserved it. 5 Bradford a relegation side thst at times we made to look good 5
GC hard to fathom the nicholls substitution almost cost us but luck of irish maybe got away with it. If no improvement in creative play next season we will need a change.

Bonham - 7
J. Clarke - 5 - Was fine until the head injury. Amazed he wasn't substituted after that because he seemed to be on another planet after that. Lockyer - 7 - Was probably up for MOTM if JCH hadn't got 2. Still the best positioned CB we've had for a long time. Craig - 6 - likewise. Holmes-Dennis - 5 - Probably the worst game he's had for us that I've seen. Couldn't string together a pass all game until the last few moments when he hits THAT cross
Upson - 7 - One of the two men of the midfield that actually showed up. Starting to show his quality for us after a poor start of the season. O. Clarke - 7 - First half might have been the worst player on the pitch. Couldn't seem to figure out that the goal kick was going to the man near him every time and so continued to leave him completely open. If he hadn't scored his bi-annual screamer then would have been lower. Ogogo - 7 - Did the leg work that the other 2 didn't show up. Such an important signing as he's largely the only person that stops our midfield from being over-run. Sercombe - 5 - Looked scared of the ball for most of the game. Don't know if his heads gone or if last season was a fluke but looks like we've got a very different player to 12 months ago.
Nichols - 7 - Only player who looked capable of starting an attack for us in the first half with his link up play with the midfield. Clarke-Harris - 8 - Probably the hardest player to score. Thought he was dreadful for large portions of the game and yet scored twice and hit the crossbar once which is what we pay him for.
Subs: Sinclair - 7 - Sinc's legs near the end were probably what swung the game our way in the end. Seemed to be the only player capable of running towards the end and that's what allowed him to start the break that led to our goal. Rodman - 6 - Slow start for his return to the team. Pleased to have him back. Jakubiak - 7 - Probably involved in the smartest decision of the day when he elected against potentially giving them the ball back with a shot and so played it to the wings killing off the clock
Crowd - 6 - About as good as the team Ref - 7 - Thought he was one of the better refs we've seen this season. Would've preferred a bit more parity in terms of the fouls that earned yellows for us and for them. Bradford - 6 - Hard to score. Didn't look particularly great especially at the back and yet we continued to step off them and let them play football which with some of the players they have is always going to make them look dangerous.

Bonham 7 - made a few tricky saves look easy and gave confidence to the defence
J. Clarke 5 - mistake for the first goal. Their left back had a lot of freedom on the wing and Clarke was badly exposed due to our system. Lockyer 6 Craig 6.5 - some good defensive blocks Holmes-Dennis 6.5 - extra point for the cross. Looked defensively weak (exposed by our system).A number of basic errors but showed his class at times.
Upson 5 - too many errors and too slow O. Clarke 5.5 - good goal but like the whole midfield numerous basic errors Ogogo 5.5 - some good moments. Many basic errors and at times the midfield were all chasing the same ball giving Bradford space. Sercombe 5.5 - started off very poor but improved. His corners were better than of late and had a couple of chances.
Nichols 5.5 - played well at the start but faded and not a goal threat either Clarke-Harris 7.5 - not his best game but his goals were massive
Subs: Sinclair 5.5 Rodman 5.5 Jakubiak NOLE
Crowd 7 - good at the end Ref 8 - all our bookings were justified Bradford 5 - looked ok at time but if they let in three goals when we played so poorly you can see why they are bottom

Bonham: 7 Did what was asked of him. Best keeper we've had for a while
J. Clarke 4 At fault for the first goal. Terrible first half (but true of most of the team..until we got our first goal). Who did he think he was passing to at one potentially disastrous moment in the first half!! Lockyer 6.5 Steady as always Craig 7 No frills, no dynamic football. just good reliable play. The rock of our defence Holmes-Dennis 6.5 Getting there. Tries hard and will improve
Upson 6 Did okay, nothing to write home about but not awful O. Clarke 6 His passing lets him down but all is forgiven for that goal Ogogo 7.5 I though he played really well. Lots of running on and off the ball. Sercombe 6 Getting there. Still something missing compared to last season but one superb effort on goal.
Nichols 6.5 Yes, a bit lightweight and easily knocked off the ball but one fantastic back flick with his heel to set up an attack. No goals but still adds to the team Clarke-Harris 8 MOM Not heavily involved due to lack of cohesion between mid field and attack...but not his fault. He is here to score goals and that is what he did.
Subs: Sinclair 6 Not really on long enough to judge but he always does what is asked of him. Rodman 6 Again, not on long enough but did show flashes of what he is capable of. Jakubiak nol
Crowd 7 A bit more noise today which was great - especially considering how awful we were in the first half Ref 6.5 Got the bookings right but maybe one or two of their players deserved a card based on what he gave against us. But did okay though. Bradford 7 Shame they are to be relegated. Certainly not the worst team I've seen at the Mem. Nice to see their fans applauding Ollie's goal.

Bonham 7
J. Clarke 6 despite his mess up for the first goal, overall good game. Lockyer 6 needs to hold the line further away from our box when defending, just asking for trouble. Craig 6 Holmes-Dennis 6
Upson 4 Slow and wasteful, first thoughts appear to be get rid of the ball either in the air or backwards. O. Clarke 5.5 being brought down to the same level as the rest of our midfield Ogogo 4.5 slow, caught out, occasional good tackle, no drive to go forward. Sercombe 2 was not happy with what I saw from him, looked disinterested, when he lost the ball (which he did a lot) there was no desire to get it back, did play better once he switched sides, but too late to change my mind about his performance by then.
Nichols 6 not bad performance, should of had a shot or two, but trying to pass on the responsibility, was at least putting on pressure and tracking back. Clarke-Harris 9 Our best player by far, angry when he or any other team mates loses the ball and never gives up. The exact attitude I want to see from everyone else.
Subs: Sinclair 6 Rodman 6 Jakubiak NOLE
Crowd 8 far more cheery than I was, got me singing even though I was appalled with our performance. Ref 6 Bradford 6 Showed them far too much respect, where shakey on the few occasions we stopped.

Results in and Jonson Clarke-Harris was once again Man of the Match, this time with a score of 8.29.
He now has 9 MotMs in 13 games, achieved in one fewer game than Bonham and 40 fewer games than Gaffney, who was the quickest to 9 before this season.
The starting XI average was 6.40, the second lowest for a win this season after the 6.33 against Wimbledon.
There were 28 responses to this thread, the joint most with the Blackpool home game also this season.
Assuming they do go down, Bradford's rating of 6.0 was the second highest opposition rating for a team relegated the same season. Only Dagenham who got a (perhaps generous) 7.6 in THAT game have gone down whilst scoring higher against Rovers.
Bonham 6.9
J. Clarke 5.1 Lockyer 6.6 Craig 6.8 Holmes-Dennis 5.9
Upson 6.1 O. Clarke 6.7 Ogogo 6.4 Sercombe 5.6
Nichols 5.9 Clarke-Harris 8.3
Subs: Rodman 5.6 Sinclair 5.6 Jakubiak 6.2
Crowd 6.6 Ref 6.0 Bradford 6.0
