Lines has obviously had some issues this season and most of us at least don't really know the extent of the problems or how much its affected his training and performance. Seems like he had a good game for the development squad at mk dons yesterday. Seems strange that he cannot get into a midfield that are unable to pass to their own players and only have one pace[slow]. What issues? personal ones

Whatever is happening with Lines... Would be good to play him in the last game of the season. Chrissy lines he's one of our own. *pops up with a 90th minute equaliser against Barnsley Fair shout, if it is how it looks and he won't be playing for the gas next season then it would be fitting tribute to a good servant of the club to play his last game next Saturday especially now we are safe and if it gets him to the 500 mark then well the f**k done to him. Some people like him some people don't but just remember this... He came back in our hour of need and it was his quality that helped to get us back in the league, that should not be forgotten ๐๐ Most promoted player in the quarters ๐๐

Great shout above. Sometimes you donโt know what you got til itโs gone. The quality may not have been consistent but I have seen enough of Chris Lines to say thank you, it was a pleasure to watch a local lad wear the shirt and with distinction at that!

Lines came back into the fold at a pivotal time, bossed the conference run in and was particularly influential in our promotion out of league 2 and in our first season back in league 1. He is a quality player and weโre lucky to have set him on his way in his career and then seen some of his best days when he returned. It does seem very likely heโll be off but I expect heโs got another couple of years in the league left in him, fitness permitting. One of our own and I hope he does get his send off next Saturday.

Is he due a Testimonial match, though it was two separate stints with the club (still 10 years) ?
Hope GC doesn't phase him out Saturday

I do hope that the club recognise him in some way and it not be just a leave at the end of the season where his BRFC career just peters out. #oneofourown (and there's not too many of them). UTG
