BTW - Plymouth eh. What a story that could be. Up and down this season like the Assyrian empire. End of Feb they were 14th, 7 points from rele zone (us in 21st place actually). 6 points in 9 games and they are back in trouble... Anyone remember each time they took the lead at our game recently half the stadium were singing to us “going down going down going down”? Wouldn’t that be a shame if it came to bite them on the arse...

Still some huge games at the bottom of the table .... that point could be huge today.
Scunthorpe V Plymouth last day of the season ..... that could be a belter ... winner takes all !

I’m looking at the table now and fixtures thinking it would take a ridiculous set of results for us to go down now. Just thinking the same ....After Monday we will know for sure.

Easter Monday is a bizarre re-enactment of the same game on the same day in 2014 though... And we all know how that season turned out. So...no celebrations yet. 🥺

I genuinely think that after their surge up the table they were thinking about how it was the same in 2017/18 and how they went on to get close to playoffs...

And let’s be fair he talks enough bollocks already, Europe in 5 years now let me just think about that one for a minute? Lady gardens! 💩

L1 going to be a tough gig next year with Ipswich and Bolton coming down and maybe Sunderland or Portsmouth still here.

Good point in the end, but why did we start with that strange selection and leave it so late to change it? God knows. I seem to be constantly looking and Cogs selections and saying this is going to be awful and it usually is but he’s picking up the points. I really hope we start next season more positive though. Having said that if he starts next season the way he’s been going and it works as well as it has up until now then we’ll finish top half. One thing I really want in the summer is to replace lines though. Not having a playmaker is killing us creatively. Stick a load of ball winners around him by all means Cogs but you’ve got to have someone who can create something. Can’t rely on Harris or Olly to score from nothing every week next season.

Apart from Bradford I’m no nearer really to knowing who will go down. That last minute equaliser for Walsall may give them a big lift and you don’t really want to be going into the last three matches looking poor and on a bad run and for that reason alone I think one of Wycombe or Argyle will go down. Am really surprised at Argyle when they were out of it a few weeks ago. I don’t think we’ll go down now but what’s happened to Argyle is a bit of a cautionary tale, we don’t want to lose the next two matches and leave it to the last game or depend on what others do. With GC i don’t think that will happen. But if this escape is to mean anything we need to avoid being in the same position next year. That means infecting some creativity into the team, getting our recruitment right in the Summer and learning how to play on the front foot. UTG!
