This post is my first for god knows how many years and having spent enough time up and down the M4 in recent months and further afield, I am lost for words to describe this excuse for a footballer.
In my 44 years of going to watch My favourite club I cannot think of a more ineffective forward or come to think of it, a footballer.
Opposing Managers must see our team sheet and rub there hands in glee. The Rochdale managers last minute instructions to his defenders would have been ‘double up on JCH, the other guy is useless’
And yet again he did not disappoint. He falls over more than Lewis Halsane ever did,. Wear some studs rather than slippers, it will help.. Can’t hold the ball up, can’t win a header and can’t beat a man. It therefore begs the question what in God’s name is he doing on the pitch.
Today’s performance was probably the worst of many woeful this season but when you start a game with effectively 10 men what is to be expected.
We ain’t out the relegation woods yet and it is scary to think that should we stay up there are at least four teams worse than us
Best part of today was the well deserved applause for Lindsay Parsons.

His worst game of the season today. However contributed to 9 goals this season. He is constantly scapegoated for everything, I sh** you not some muppet blamed him for Sercombe missing his absolute sitter. Obviously we do need better though, if we are to keep him then I would use him as a squad player to sit behind the striker/s.

How many actual goals has he scored and how many appearances since he joined us? His goal ratio is about one in 25

How many actual goals has he scored and how many appearances since he joined us? His goal ratio is about one in 25 2 goals in 74 appearances in the league according to Soccerbase. One of the those was from a back pass from none other than Ed Upson of all people and I think the other was a penalty. Bit of a scapegoat at times as he’s a decent player but regardless starting a striker with those stats is inexcusable.

He has to go surely? For his own good as much as the clubs. How many goals in 2 seasons? He isn’t a striker, and he isn’t suddenly going to re-invent himself as a threat behind the strikers.... he is lightweight and the time has come to off load. GC needs to totally overhaul the frontline for next season. I would only keep JCH out of the 4
He also needs to decide whether to play with width as at present we are a midfield of cloggers and no creative spark
One big centre back, a right back or 2 and the keeper sorted
Just hope he acts quickly and decisively to rid this imbalanced squad of the deadwood

It's just not worked out for him here unfortunately but the scapegoating is beyond ridiculous now. The sarcastic cheers when he was subbed today were just uncalled for, as poor as he was.

He was one of 8 very very poor performances today, you just can't blame him
I thought JCH was truly poor today up against a very good No 6

Even if we survive this season, unless there are major changes, including offloading Nicholls, I fear for us next season.

Must have been absolutely knackered from carrying the entire team on his back for three months to be fair to him. He said after the Bradford game that everything was hurting after about 60 minutes, so perhaps 2 games in 4 days has been a bit much for him.

Most gifted footballer at the club.
Play him in center mid and build the team around him.
He's just been unlucky.
Etc.....

Yep Poor team with Poor Management, Owners that don't give a flying F##k = Poor season The "owners" gave Clarke 355k for Nichols: £185k for Payne: £125k for Rodman and GCH money for JCH and Ogogo. No you are right they don't give a f**k.

How can people be bringing JCH up is beyond me.. He is allowed one poor/ quiet game. My only criticism would be he keeps hold of the ball too long sometimes. We would be down already without him.
I think in terms of TN, he does need to reinvent himself and accept a place behind a striker or 2. If he can't do that then yeah he would have to move on, simply can't have someone playing up top for entire season and score 1 goal.

Unfortunately it hasn't worked for Tom at the Rovers, his goal scoring record over two seasons must be the worst of any striker in the clubs history. The management must look at themselves for failing to recognize the obvious, his inclusion in so many games is much of the reason why we are still in trouble.

No you are right they don't give a f**k. So that's 665k or about 40% of the estimated 1.6 million we recieved for Taylor, Bodin and Harrison then. No you are right they really do care.
