I renewed mine after the Bradford game as I saw some fight and commitment in the team, and because I had finally seen them win a game this season. However, my resolve would have been sorely tested if I was waiting until today to renew. Me and Scrappydoo used to tour the country with Rovers and we saw virtually every game in the Conference but he's older now and has fallen out of love with the boring football and has decided he has better things to do on a Saturday so his ticket is not being renewed. He does keep an eye on the games via his mobile phone though.
Mrs Scoobydoo has also called it quits and she said her goodbyes yesterday to the people we normally stand by in the Blackthorn. She has admitted that she hasn't been enjoying the boring, defensive, sideways football for quite some time so doesn't want her ticket renewed. Her biggest smile yesterday was the 2-0 scoreline against the sh*t as she hails from Sheffield and also follows Sheff Wed.
So that just leaves me but with neither of them to go with now I doubt I will end up going to every home game. It's a shame but it won't feel the same going on my own.

Renewed mine, but my 13 year old doesn't want one this year. He still plans on coming to watch some matches throughout the season, but really doesn't want to commit to the season long slog, as more often than not he has other things he wants to do, instead of coming to the Mem to be bored out of his mind watching 'hoof ball'.

Similar to my circumstances, my lad is 15 next month and doesn’t want a season ticket anymore. I’ve now got to stand on my own in the Blackthornend lol 😂

Should Graham C get things cooking and any sniff of success comes our way, they’ll all be back. Ways of the world with L1 sides. 2006/07 is a beautiful example of this.

Ticking timebomb maybe? How to keep kids interested.... (the facilities, the football, small club, lack of success, others supporting big clubs, or just LIFE...)

All good stuff so far.
thanks everyone. It's nice to get a real indication of what people are doing, and have an adult discussion (if needed).
To see the results you have to vote, but I realise (too late...) that that seems a bit unfair on those (including myself!) who don't fit into any category, so
1 - you can always vote for option 5 (a.k.a. the jokey option...)
2 - I can give out results so far here...
- Had one in 2018/19 and renewed/ing for 2019/20 = 38 - Had one in 2018/19 but not sure if renewing = 6 - Had one in 2018/19, but NOT renewing = 8 - Didn’t have this season but getting one for 2019/20 = 4 - I can hardly remember my own name, let alone plan for August… = 5

I think I want to see the ins and outs before I commit to another season, especially as it kicks of on August the 3rd. If Nichols; Payne and a few others are here I will probably go on an ad hoc basis

It will come in ebbs and flows. We had 3 years of success that attracted new ST holders and supporters and now we’ve reached the norm again of supporting Rovers where we are an average side in the third division and thus ST sales and interest in the club will tail off accordingly, if there is one saving grace, it is that we are an average L1 side rather than a poor L2 one. Let’s hope the good times will come round again soon and people will start to regain interest, I’m keeping the faith and renewing as ever.

Renewed ours before the Rochdale game, but with no real enthusiasm and after watching another poor effort, especially when the opposition have the ball, i did wonder why i bothered. However it's what i do and have done since the sixties, come rain or shine, good or bad, whatever league we're in. I must be mad.

Renewed yesterday, must admit I found it tough to justify to myself ( and the mrs ) even with the 65+ discount. There used to be a sign at the old Eastville Stadium that said “Eastville for Entertainment“ The entertainment value this season has been, for me,, 3/10 at best. However, more of the same from the Owners, GC & the water poor football next season it will definitely be my last. It’s sad to hear kids not wanting to go anymore, I hope they don’t go to the dark side, but this is what the owners should be looking at, unfortunately unless they sort out a stadium & trading ground then we won’t generate the income needed to even maintain our L1 status.

My support at home isn't steered by how well we are doing.
If anything, the turmoil at the club on and off the pitch has made me more resolute to support more in a time of crisis. As that's when it's most needed.
So, yes. I've renewed.
Always the optimist things will get better (if TN isn't striker!).

Got mine and can’t wait to see TN and JCH be our smash and grab 40 goals between them if we get in the right players to supply the service they need.UTG
