Lockenbauer? More like Linesenbauer. I see Matthias Sammer more like a peak Lines. Fixed.

Fixed it for you mate. More accurate representation of positions on the pitch during the game. Removed Sercs entirely as he's prone to disappearing this season. Chris Lines as a Libero, be still my beating heart.

Only 10 against Champ team Neil?? It was a joke because Sercombe disappears in games and has largely been non-existent. To clarify, I would also not play Lines as a sweeper.

No way is this a dead rubber. Barnsley are going for the title and we owe it to Luton to put out a strong side. How would we feel if we were Luton and someone did that to us.
Usual team but with Lines in for any one of Upson, Ogogo, Clarke or Sercombe.

For me we may aswell send out those that have been in and around the first team this season.
Start Kilgor and Moore Play lines for his 500
Both teams with nothing to play for so why not?
Edit: Didn't realise Barnsley could pip Luton to the title. I haven't changed my mind on the above though

Agreed but if we believe the likes of Moore, Kilgour et al have a legit chance of making it at the Mem then give them gametime. We wouldn't be doing anyone a disservice by playing a few potential prospects in our final game - a dead rubber to us (notwithstanding any desire to finish as high as possible). FWIW, I agree. I'd play Linesy (or bring him on towards the end) and that's probably it. All for giving Kilgour a game/chance too but it wouldn't be fair to drop either Lockenbauer or Captain Craig (though I'm an advocate of 3-5-2 so get Alfie in).

I'd raffle off places in the team to fans, hopefully then we can afford to get in a welder for the screen.

My team would be... -----------Bonham Clarke---Lockyer---Kilgour---THD --------Ogogo---Ollie C------ Rodman------Lines-------Sercs -------------JCH-------------- SUBS Andre-Jnr Morgan Craig Tomlinson Moore Russe Kelly Would swop Upson for Clarke, as I think Clarke is one booking away from a 3 game ban, which will carry over to next season. So pointless risking him in a game that means nothing to us. Also personally I would play Craig instead of Lockyer. Think Craig is more likely to be here next season. Even if Lockyer is here, he goes on international duty. So it will give us practice for when he's not here.

Obviously Luton would like to win the title, but I don't think they will lose any sleep other it.

Fleetwood's team against us was virtually the same that beat Sunderland last night so was their strongest side. We have to put out our strongest team to maintain the integrity of the league - Luton could well be held by Oxford on Saturday giving Barnsley a fair chance of winning the division. It does make a difference actually being Champions! (as some of us remember from 73-74). The only concession would be Lines on the bench with maybe a cameo 5-10 mins at the end. The bench should include the likes of Sinclair, Partington etc who will hopefully be applauded and thanked for their efforts at getting us back to our traditional level - we may never see them again.

Should play the strongest team available not fair on the paying supporters or season ticket holders otherwise I believe the development games are free to watch so why pay full price to watch a half baked team Oops Think I better stop right there ðŸ¤

They’re already promoted due to the choke of Portsmouth and Sunderland so it’s a dead rubber party time for BARNSLEY Pretty sure they will now be wanting to win the league as they are on the same points as Luton with 4-5 less goal difference Would we get done for match fixing by putting out a team of kids allowing T'Barnsley t'win t'league by overturning a big goal difference?

They’re already promoted due to the choke of Portsmouth and Sunderland so it’s a dead rubber party time for BARNSLEY Except if they beat us by 4 more goals than Luton win by then they're champions as well. They're going to go for the jugular. So if we make too many changes then we'll have the EFL having a go at us for essentially throwing the game in Barnsley's favour, Is Andre the jugular?
