Smith: 7. Competent and unlucky with the goal.

J Clarke: 7. Stuck to his task well, especially in 1st half against a decent winger.
Lockyer: 8. Quality as ever. We are going to miss him hugely.
Craig: 8. Didn't put a foot wrong. Imperative he stays, particularly if Lockyer goes.
Kelly: 6. Struggled and is clearly not an overlapping full back. Good debut season though.

Rodman: 8. Two well taken goals and grew into the game well.
O Clarke: 9. MoM. Back to his best with an all action display.
Upson: 7. Good, solid performance in keeping with the 2nd half of his season.
Ogogo: 7. Decent battling display.
Sercombe: 7. Better than he has been of late. Oddly, despite not wanting to play there, he's been more effective out wide than in the middle.

Jakubiak: 7. Isolated for too long due to poor starting selection. I think he has potential but for the time being is probably an impact player off the bench.

Reilly: 6. Did ok. We were certainly better when we went 4-4-2.
Lines: 7. Not on long but one lovely through ball for Sercombe reminded us of what he can still do. Another one we will miss if he goes.
Kilgour: nole.

Ref: 8. Thought he was very good.
Barnsley: 7.
Crowd: 8. Actually heard the Thatchers End this week! But please drop that braindead IRA song.

GC: Got starting selection wrong for me by playing only one up top. To his credit though, this was our best passing display under him and we thoroughly deserved this win. I just hope he learns that we can pass the ball and win football matches.

Barnsley 6 After the sending off were far too cautious. Could have got three points if they had gone for it.

Smith 5 - dwelled on ball a couple of times. Flapped at cross pre goal, but did make impressive first save. Nearly dived past shot straight at him.

J. Clarke 7.5 - got forward well, some nice touches and solid as ever. Good pace to get back and recover in first half.
Lockyer 8.5 - really solid against a big strong front line. Battled hard and was more commanding than normal.
Craig 8 - very solid. Really used his experience.
Kelly 6.5 - some good moments and looked to support well. Would like to see a bit more zip on.his crosses.

Rodman 8 - mainly scoring high for his 2 goals, though both finishes not the most convincing! Stretched game well first half but had limited options in middle when in good positions. Lots of neat touches but often best work is further back.
O. Clarke 6 - a bit slow and sluggish on ball but battled away.
Upson 7 - usual tidy game, didn't give ball away much.
Ogogo 7 - dynamic display. He seemed to be playing a bit higher up pressuring defence. Few moments was in great positions but unable to deliver quality ball.
Sercombe 7 - looked more up for it than normal. More speed in his running. Unlucky with volley from corner which was blocked

Jakubiak 6 - typical display from jak. Battled hard and showed some great skill in tight situations but just not s goalscorer. Poor attempt at header 2nd half

Subs: Reilly 5.5 - has the one big chance which may be came too soon after coming on
Lines 5 - didn't influence game. Hid free kick after coming on summed it all up. Shame as wanted him to be the hero
