I have never celebrated a goal like that in my life.
Probably never will.
Honestly, watching those videos actually I can actually feel a tear pushing through

Remember jumping up when Taylor hit the post, then back down...then up as Brown scored.
Found myself lying underneath a crash barrier on the West Enclosure, noticing an injured Sinclair going mental with the fans alongside me.
What a moment.

I recall the glum faces exiting York City’s crumbling terrace, heads down & kicking the floor following the 4-1 win, seemingly resigned to the play offs after Accrington secured another away win of their own, a week prior. I was busy fist pumping along with a few others, we just had that funny feeling something was going to go for us, having seen how well Stevenage defended the week previous in our night match down there. I knew (or more desperately hoped) they would keep out Coleman’s men.
Another forgotten moment is Leadbitter getting drawn to the ball carrier, leaving his man unmarked back post & Tom Lockyer miraculously keeping the ball off the line in what must have been the 85th minute or so.
What a day, never to be beaten, never to be forgotten.

It was a fantastic day. Sun out, beers flowing. Taylor missing about 5 sitters. Marc Cousins just played absolutely fantastic that day pulling off some great saves getting us all frustrated. And then up pops Browner. Followed by Lee Mansell coming up to the executive boxes in his boxer shorts and flip flops carrying 2 bottles of champagne.
Absolute scenes.

Unbelievable end to a season. The goal itself was euphoria. Then the wait, on the pitch, for confirmation of our promotion.
It’s sad that the team that we were all so proud of has been dismantled.

I woke up the morning of the game having just had a dream we won in injury time despite going a goal down.
Spooky.

The greatest gas day ever everything since has been an anti climax.

The greatest gas day ever everything since has been an anti climax. At least we`re still in the division, that Brown`s goal entitled us to become part of.

Promotion again, and again, and then Champions League? At some point any club will end up at a level where they lose more than they win. I don't think some people really get that?

Our first season back in League One was absolutely superb, a 10th placed finish with a majority of the Conference squad still starting matches. Anti Climax? That Couldn’t be further from the truth.

Wild how we'll probably start next season without a single player that featured in that match. James Clarke still here. Attachments:![](//storage.proboards.com/5848383/thumbnailer/pzaHBSHTZEJ0SSPFpqjR.png)
