A bit underwhelming to be honest. Leeds Utd or Walsall. How things have changed. UTG Would have thought he would rather the Plymouth job if given the opportunity? Walsall are no more than a league one club. At least Plymouth have championship potential.

Yes Sinclair will join him and Lines I reckon, hopefully Nicholls and Payne. They will be in top 6 next season.

Like seeing your ex with another bloke. I am not over this. Seriously though, this is a big job for him. Needs to get it right to prove himself after what went wrong at the end of his time here. Personally, believe he will. Sincs, Lines, Leads... who's going to end up at Walsall then! [br Agree your sentiments. I still miss him. Can he help us by taking Payne and Nichols?

Can't help but feel some of the optimism for them next season is slightly OTT. It'll be a tough job in a tough league with plenty of expectation. Not sure Sinclair and Lines would have the quality now to push them towards the top of that league.

What promises were they then?? I never saw any promises? From day one they said they would grow the club the right way. Every season the budget went up to the maximum allowed. They grow it, by getting better sponsorship etc. Looks to me that they kept thier promise's. They just didn't do what the post reported and fans took in lol. Hope he does well at Walsall, unless they ever play us! You trying to convince yourself? No I never expected big spending, they said that from the off. I'm only suprised fans are shocked lol.

I wonder how long it will take him until he gets fed up with the lack of ambition by their owner, who seems more interested in breaking even each season than making any progress. I suppose it depends on what their owner has promised him.

A bit underwhelming to be honest. Leeds Utd or Walsall. How things have changed. UTG Sold the dream at the gas with his 5 year deal And in the end we were going backwards Good luck to DC

Although, at that level, so many teams effectively rip up their squads via retained lists etc. that no bystanders can really have a defined opinion on what teams are in the best positions from promotion/relegation perspectives until they've signed up a squad of players! Lines and Sincs played a big part of our promotion from L2, though, so no reason they couldn't a second time around up the motorway!

Are we going to get some Gasheads converting to Walsall supporters now ? Won't be outright supporting Walsall but keeping an eye on their results for sure. Certainly my new favourite L2 team as far as one can have one lol.

Football clubs that don't run up big debts make me sick. Should be booted out of the League if you ask me. Why can't they be more like Bolton?
