Can we arrange for Bonham to have a kick about on their training pitch in a Coventry shirt?

Meanwhile, Rovers have been linked with a move for out-of-contract AFC Fylde goalkeeper Jay Lynch.

If they all turn out to be like JCH and Ogogo then I'm certainly not complaining. GC has worked wonders with our defence this season, no reason why he can't get his hands on someone with potential like Davies and take them to new levels.

I don't get the moaning about 'Coventry cast offs' tbh, without Ogogo and JCH we would have gone down last season. If he's anywhere near as good a signing as those 2 players were then I welcome it.

Coventry City are actually escaping the Ricoh and relocating to Bristol bit by bit.

I remember when Gasheads moaned that DC only signed ‘ex team mates & buddies’ for our Conference journey.
That didn’t work out too badly at all. On such a beautiful May afternoon, surely there’s better things to do than come online pretending to be outraged, over a ‘potential’ signing you’ve never heard of?
Anyway, back to the crossword & glass of pino.

You don't get why people would be frustrated that we seem capable of only signing players from one single club and a club that up until this season we had been above for years? Hmmmmm, seems quite obvious to me!!

And above for years? You remember we were in the Conference right? A couple years ago? We have only been 'above' them for like a season, last season they were better than us and if the players we are recruiting from them are better than what we have then I don't care how many played for Coventry.

6'1" centre half (for those of us who can't cope with metric when measuring height!). Reputation for heading it and kicking it, which is pretty much on the mould of the manager.
His interview with the Coventry Telegraph suggests that he wants to move up north, but maybe Coughlan has sold him the club and the lure of two ex team mates will sway it.
Not played many games for a lad of 27, and replacing Lockyer is a big ask. But, to be fair Coughlan does seem to know his job when it comes to defending so hopefully this can be a good signing if it happens.

Davies is a decent CH but Willis and Hyam have been first choice.
If we are after coventry players I would certainly take Luke Thomas who is a brilliant, pacey and skilful midfielder with a great eye for a pass.

If you take it to it’s logical conclusion then it’s a plan with a very limited shelf life because as soon as Coventry realise that the key to our successful recruitment policy is snapping up their best reserves they will stop dealing with us- what do we do then?

Not the best on the ball, but certainly an upgrade on Sinclair and a similar type of player.

I'm pretty sure Coughlan and the rest of our recruitment team are able to talk to other clubs when there are no players wanted from Coventry. It's just a case that the last few players have come/may come from there. If we sign 6 players for next season who are better than what we have at the moment then I wouldn't be bothered if they all came from the same club or different clubs, infact having a few players who have played together before could be a good thing as they may already be used to how the play etc.
