I like this forum and the other one and it’s great that fans can post opinions and spout their views about stuff. But blimey, when you’re slap bang mid table, in a part of the season when you won’t go up and you won’t go down, there’s been no midweek match some posters post just for a good old moan. Perhaps less is more in these circumstances. When you’re at the highest level (just about) that we’ve been for 19 years, and we’re going to be there next season as well perhaps we could just accept that we don’t need to find something to moan about. I’d say we seem to have become a very negative fan base but I think it’s probably not that many who have a pop at things out of the whole fanbase but blimey, they don’t half full a few pages of space.😉 UTG!
ps Before anyone says it, I do know that I don’t have to read it or respond to it!! And, btw, everyone has a complete right, almost a duty to complain about the subject of this thread. Even Tranmere appear to have come to the same conclusion. What an excuse for a footballer.

On the positive side we will not be going down this season. An outcome that most supporters would have happily accepted before the season started.
However, a general sense of discontent surrounds the club based on two current situations:
1. The stadium and training facilities promises that have not materialised.
2. The lamentable current playing performance that has seen us slide down the table. Before Christmas, there was talk of promotion to the Championship. We have not played second tier football for almost 30 years and many fans have never ever seen us at that level. Its like the dream of higher status has been snatched from us and many fans, quite rightly, are expressing a range of views from disappointment to outrage.

You say that but having seen us achieve a few unrealistic relegations from seemingly safe positions I'm putting my faith in mathematical safety Takes a lot to be mathematically safe, this stage of the season. Sunderland aren't mathematically safe, yet. True, but taking say a realistic target of 45 points for safety. We would need to get 13 points from our remaining 12 games, given given our form since BG took over relegation is not that far fetched.

We already have 42 points, so don’t you mean 3 points from our last 12 games? Now that is realistic! 👍

Think we could be ok then In any case, Tranmere who have taken 6 points from their last 12 games, would need to take 20 from their next 12.

Win sat and it’ll be 2 wins a draw and a defeat from 4. It’s a good opportunity to get that turned a corner feeling. UTG That still won’t stop the moaners. I don’t care about the moaners who moan when we’re doing well. There isn’t that many and they are just there for entertainment.
