At this rate we'll have a thread on every lower and non league player who is out of contract with opinions made from Wikipedia (Pirate excluded of course!) I'll have you know I form all my opinions from Wikipedia and thanks to chewbacca I now know that Volendam is twinned with Coventry. It's still there, must be true.

I wouldn't call Lloyd Isgrove exciting. Maybe it is exciting if you really like risks.
Around 50 senior appearances in a 7-8 year senior career at 26 (admittedly that's according to wikipedia but correct me if i'm wrong) and 2 senior goals in that time.
They are largely at above League One level but the stats still show up 0 appearances for portsmouth from jan til now. If he kicks on given a run of games then maybe he will work out, but it's definitely a risk. He was out for most of the season through injury. Surely we can do without another injury-prone player?
The risk is probably worth taking seeing as it's a free. He plays well and we give him a 2-3 year deal then we can make some money out of him in July 2021...

I wouldn't call him an exciting signing either, although if we could get the best out of him he might prove to be a decent signing. There are plenty of wingers I'd prefer over him though.

Hearts are in for him too. Offer him £4k per week and a 3 year contract to make sure we get him.

lloyd isgrove has been linked with a move from a few places online in recent weeks including eflhub who are fairly reliable. Southern lad by the looks of it but relatively unproven on a regular basis. Having a platform to properly kickstart his career might be what hes after, worth a go for me

Released by Colchester scored very few goals and not always a starter in the division below us. Not sure based on his statistics why there is interest from Hearts Gillingham and ourselves.
