Not having a go at wertongas in particular, but it's not easy to avoid cynicism here.
We've had so many people who've come on here over the past 3 or 4 years announcing great news ahead, which they've either been told or occasionally have just invented, for fun....
So forgive me if I don't crack open the Moet just yet.

Still just a rumour though as the stands were never constructed, no worse than Knowall suggesting good news by October as that didn't happen either but could have been accurate at the time. Hopefully whoever planned the stand isn't now working on the new stadium plans or we could move into a new stadium and find it's only got one stand. Sorry, I thought he was talking about the two (out of three) new stands we had last season. I was, there should have been three and one should have been larger than it is.

So did the club refuse your money or are the away fans getting a roof? Can't put roof on away end as it would block views from Centenary stand, however offered money to get rid of those crap temporary toilets and put proper toilet block in under the new screen, plus a bar for away fans there will be more seating made available for larger away followings. Most amazing thing is that the club have discovered a building behind a fence in the top right hand corner of the stadium (club been there for 22 yrs without knowing this building existed) may use it for offices, food outlet and games area for kids, but it depends on whether it is worth spending the money if we are vacating the ground. Could bring in extra revenue. Really! Honestly that has left me speechless, well nearly. Are you sure it’s not a ****-take? Blimey, you couldn’t make that up! After 22 years I wouldn’t fancy eating anything from it. Best to knock it down and put a temporary hut/ shack there......or even a tent. UTG!

No I walked around it, it needs a new roof, so may cost a bit to sort, but I did say to the club if it was restored they could move in there and get rid of some of the rented portacabins which could in the long run save money. But it depends on how long we stay at the stadium whether it is worth doing. Of course we could just put bars across the front of it, then any sh**thead that comes into the stadium to cause trouble (graffiti), could be thrown in there and left to rot.

It used to be a mechanics garage accessed off Strathmore Rd.

Please werton, I wasn’t doubting what you said. It was just incredible that there was a building the club didn’t know about within the grounds! Must be a fair size if you reckon it could do that stuff! So...the neighbours kept saying that building belongs to the club, they should do something with it, it’s becoming a bit of an eyesore! The club were saying those neighbours, why don’t they look after their buildings, it’s a bit of an eyesore. Honestly you couldn’t make it up!😂 UTG!

Lol The supporters have got behind the club with our best attendances in about 30 years over the past few years and have remained remarkably patient, despite all the rhetoric about new stadiums and training grounds, with little or no action. You’re right pirate. We may moan, we may complain but we never as a fan base fail to support our team. We never fail to be patient, we support our club in numbers and have patience that other clubs would never understand. But I guess in the end we will do that, it’s just sometimes a bit galling to be told to do so when we’ve always done it. UTG!

Sorry jock, you are obviously unaware of the association with 'curly fries' that I've been unfairly tainted with for many years.... Mind you, folk who could've potentially remember that are probably so old that the wouldn't remember it anyway....

Thing is the fans have asked for it. It’s a great chance to ask questions of the club and possibly spark some change for the positive. I agree though just banging on about the stadium won’t help much, we all know it’s critical as you say

Daft cow said " i'm so glad she's now eating vegetables" No need to call your mum a daft cow, just because she thinks a cucumber is a vegetable - when everybody knows that it is actually a fruit.
