What am I doing wrong? Samsung Galaxy S8, go to Rovers Site, find fixtures, pick First Team Fixtures, pick Android as my Calendar type, click sync, it goes off, says successful, look at Calendar, nothing.
Bloody thing.

If it`s a Smart Phone, the fact that you are typing in "Bristol Rovers" followed by "Football Club", is probably confusing it.

When are you going to get one of those new coloured teles? He can’t afford a tele, now that the over 75’s have to pay the license fee.

Knew this was a bad idea. Sorry Baggins, I'll be serious now. You need to connect the Samsung S8 to your car's audio system via a 9mm plug. You then have to drive the car at a speed of 80mph to enable the phone to receive a 'wireless' connection. Obviously the faster you drive, the faster the download speed will be on the smart phone. The fact you are driving a clapped-out Ford Ka which has a top speed of 55mph is causing your 'wireless' signal to drop-out. I think you need to get a newer car, although I would not recommend anything from British Leyland. Go for something a bit more up to date.

Working ok on Android here. Check your using the Google calendar app, not the Samsung. If so, click on settings in the Google app, check the fixtures are syncing and then try manual sync.

I'm using the calender app that was pre installed on phone (which I assume means it's the Android calender?). I don't really want to start installing the google calender as I've got loads of reminders etc on the one already installed.

Check in settings of phone for account syncing then in calendar app settings

I've no doubt someone texted you a website link.... Must be a 'niche' site, as he's probably got all the usual sites bookmarked.

Bloody thing. Is it possible you have an Outlook and Gmail account which have not been linked? If so, you'll only see one or the other in your calendar.
