He's either: a) massively busy doing something that will soon lead to a stunning announcement which will transform our fortunes and restore all our early faith in him; or b) adopting a very low profile so we never hear anything, because he's had the life sucked out of him by the frustration of owning Bristol Rovers, and he's virtually given up. I’ll go with option B If this became a vote. Option B would win

Busy two weeks coming up - Couple in and a couple out If I’m honest out going in my mind should be GR, he needs to play week in week out to build his confidence, looked far too lightweight at times last season, with Nichols clearly managers fav to partner JCH. Depending how the JCH situation evolves, I think Tom Elliott could do a great job for us! Of course I’d rather JCH stays but with our track record of selling players anything is possible. What I’ve seen of TS he seems a bit of a pointless acquisition if we plan to keep GR and add AJ to the squad as well, although it’s preseason, so I will save judgment until I see him throughout the season. Still think a couple of decent wide men are needed, seeing LS playing wide last season was painful at times.

GC finally this afternoon gone from bringing in marquee signings and speedy wingers, to the same old ****, Rovers cannot afford any “golden nugget” players, that equals another ******* struggle,. Where is that owner, when is he going to move the club forward ?, How much debt do you want us to be in?

Do we know who’s going out? I think you could have a good guess Bennett off to Swinedon and Mensah to Aldershot at a guess, but there are a few others I could add to that list

Sounds like the usual. If true I can see January being an important month again, for the same reasons as last season.

Have I ? I actually think a lot have been proved right... especially two in the week of Ireland trip. Let’s wait and see what happens as a lot is riding on whether Bennett stays or goes... To think I used to fret over what you used to post Topper but as GC would say “ Let’s have it Roight “ .. You truly are a nause with your persistent put downs.

At least Deon Moore's signed a short term contract so we've got back up for JCH.

If Clarke had not have wasted £570,000 on a "striker" who has scored 2 league goals from open play in 2 seasons, and a fat lazy bastard from Shrewsbury and a no hoper from Aldershot we would be a lot better off. .
