Strange that I remember all of Bodin's performances but nothing about Carayol. Not even the Burton game? Didn't Eliot Richards get a hatrick and Muzzy tore Burton a new a-hole. Carayol was very good but to be fair that was a dead rubber!

I agree Billy and Muzzy were both great to watch. I met a Middlesborough fan who said Muzzy had a terrible attitude there. I would have had him back! If we both of thoses players were playing for us in todays side at there best then I think we would have a side that could get promotion from L1.With Wally walters are the 2 best wingers Ive seen in a Rovers shirt.

Reports on Twitter that Bodin is not going to be offered a new deal at Preston.
A fit Bodin would tear this league this league to shreds.

I can see the likes of Barnsley, Millwall, Luton queuing up for his signature. Been hampered by injuries at Preston but he’s a real talent when fit and I think even their fans realise that.
Probably the player I was most sad to see leave the club since Lambert.

Get him back On a pay per play deal. Our last gamble on Bodin paid off big time. It did , I think he was injury prone when he arrived and we offered him a 6 month deal to see how it went and it obviously went well so we signed him for longer if I remember right ? And now since he left he’s been injured a lot again.

I would have him back. Left the club in the right way, didnt have a ridiculous release clause or run his contract down.

Can score with his left, with his right, or with his head plus he can excite the fans.
37 goals and 13 assists in 105 games for The Gas, what's not to like?
If only he could keep himself fit, I'm convinced he has the talent and ability for the Championship. The fact he's strong with both feet seals the deal.

But I expect he would have clubs lining up to take a chance on him. So I doubt he would sign that kinda deal. Plus he's still under contract at the moment and probably on a more more than the average League 1 wage. So unless Preston loan him out, paying towards his wages, I can't see a league 1 club matching his wages. Think a loan deal, is the best we can hope for.

With his injury record at PNE, I think they will feel well and truly ripped off! 33 games and 3 goals in 2 seasons. That’s bout 15k per appearance or 167k per goal. I hope they were good ones!

Our 3 “best” players transferred in recent years all had long injuries with their new clubs with Billy’s probably the longest? I am sure I saw Billy play for PNE on TV during virus restart?
Carayol was superb; I saw him in one game at home vs Northampton? 0-0, terrible game, got home, told my brother that we we’re crap, carayol stood out a mile but the other 10 were absolutely shiii....! Never ever have I criticised our team like that, before and after this game.
