Rotherham Coventry Sunderland
Gas Oxford Bury Wycombe
I’m nearly always hopeful of a good season, but if we don’t address the lack of goals from last season then I think we will deservedly face a season long relegation battle.2 good signings up top will change things hugely though.

Up Sunderland, Peterborough, Ipswich. Down Bury, Bolton, Accrington, Wycombe.
Rovers as they are 17th. Rovers with 2 more decent creative players ie playmaker and a winger 10th.

Promoted teams... Rotherham, Portsmouth and Ipswich or Sunderland via playoffs
Relegated Bury, Wycombe, Rochdale, Wimbledon
Gas to finish 9/10th (if we bring in some more depth up top) 13/14th as we are.

I tend to approach any season with a sense of optimism, and this season is no exception. Mediocre teams who get off to a good league start can perform miracles with a unity and confidence gained from early doors momentum. I believe a good start for us this season is even more vital as to our prospects. Our lack of creativity would seem to be a concern but there is still time to solve this particular conundrum with one or two players, if we do not start well then I can see confidence draining away and a relegation battle blighting our season..but I think this will not occur and we will be in the play offs...ever the optimist!

And when they were up they were up, And when they were down they were down, And when they were only half way up,he was arrested.

I think the big boys are make or break this season and if off the pace will spend in January 12 point deductions for Bolton & Bury maybe too big a hill to climb. Bear in mind Bolton may yet lose more points for failing to play Brentford last season and who knows if they will be able to fulfill the 1st fixture this season 😱
Promoted Portsmouth Sunderland
Play offs Lincoln Peterborough Rotherham Ipswich
Relegated Wycombe Tranmere Bury Bolton
Us 12th - 15th
Top 10 if we can get one of our strikers to get 10 this season on top JCH hitting 15-20 but will need at least one creative midfielder in the door.

Promoted Sunderland Portsmouth
Play Offs Ipswich Rotherham Oxford Lincoln
Rovers - at present 15th, we desperately need some creativity, people are crying out for a new striker but it won't matter who we sign if we don't create chances. I'd prioritise a winger and an attacking midfielder over another striker unless one of our current batch leaves.

3 to go up : Portsmouth, Sunderland & Ipswich 4 to go down: Bury, Tranmere, Wimbledon & Us I'm not usually pessimistic but unless we get a couple more quality attacking players I think we are doomed. Christ ! someone liking a post that we're going down

I know it's still 2 weeks till a ball will be kicked in ernest and there will be a few more transfers being made ( even at The Gas ). So who do you think is going up and who's going down ? Also predict your position for The Mighty GAs too ! It'll be fun to re-visit this page as the season progresses. Here's all the teams. Wimbledon Accrington, Blackpool , Bristol Rovers Burton Bury Coventry Doncaster Fleetwood Gillingham Ipswich Lincoln City MK Dons Oxford Utd Peterborough Portsmouth Rochdale Rotherham Shrewsbury Southend Sunderland Tranmere Wycombe Bolton Here goes then : 3 to go up : Portsmouth, Sunderland & Rotherham 4 to go down: Bury, Tranmere, Wimbledon & Rochdale Gas to finish ............. 12th ! Are you sure Bolton can make up the 12 point penalty, when this has proven to be highly demotivating for clubs who've received them in the past? Added to this, they don't have any contracted players on their books. Just saying....
