A fine sing indeed, but by Eric Carmen not Eric Burdon. You're double banned. Johnny Burnette, wasn’t it? You wax your ever decreasing quiff, don't you?

Wash it with fresh clean water.......so Henbury tells me. That was how he fixes computers.... Going by the state of some of them when they come in, you have to wonder what the house looks like.................. Baggy had the dirtiest computer by far but that was the "software" he had on it

Oh, and before anyone complains about the puerile nonsense on this thread, you do realise the previous 200 odd pages are all bollocks too right.
Seriously.

$58 mill, we should tell the Fruitiers to get fckd. Avonmouth would be more viable. A ground in Avonmouth would be just the incentive I need to stop wasting my hard earned watching Rovers. Why?

267 page stadium thread without a stadium. How many would it be if we had one?

Grants are not available for terracing. Any idea what sort of grant (in terms of £s) we could apply for? We need one now for £15m/£20m to pay off the debts, until they are cleared talk of re-building the Mem is pointless.

Any idea what sort of grant (in terms of £s) we could apply for? No idea what the current levels are but they have never been huge compared to the overall cost of stadium redevelopment. Demolition and rebuild is the cheapest option I can't see that happening though. The current owners have already said so and on top of this they are currently negotiating selling the club. It would appear that those interested in taking over are only interested if there is potential to build a stadium elsewhere other than The Mem so I agree with an earlier poster, the plans talked about by both interested parties (I believe the third has gone cold) appear extremely complicated and probably (fruit) pie in the sky. The one thing that GD, NH and the current owners had in common is the belief that it is just not financially viable to re-develop the Mem. It's a non-starter.

Vote for Corbyn Nobby he'll give us a stadium, we won't have to do anything for it. Life will be just wonderful.

Plus we'd get free tickets to the games, the players wages will be capped to the minimum living wage, free vegan sausage rolls with a rousing rendition of the Red Flag to be sung before and after every game. What's not to like!

Or was that just the narrative the two former owners told us as they couldn't finance the rebuilds, if not, then why they both, on two separate occasions, spend a small fortune obtaining planning permission? I can't honestly see how a similar size stadium on the FM site is more viable than one at the Mem.
