I don’t use PT to get to the Mem now because it’s too much of a ball ache with a 5 year old in tow as well so I drive in from the outskirts of WSM. If we move to St Phillips, then I can get a train from Worle to BTM return for £7 and Id do that every home game. I will be joining you as it comes through Yatton . Currently drive but def take the train if we move to the fruity . ( Apart from the fact you’ll be in first class and I’ll be sat with the peasants) I’d happily slum it and join you with a bottle of something cold. Just make sure you get off at the other end of the carriage so people don’t think we might be friends…😉😉

Charter some trains. I think the demand would be there and with full trains I'd imagine a significant discount. Season tickets with additional fee for bus/train.

A stadium at the FM would be the perfect opportunity to improve / upgrade rail routes into Temple Meads. The Portishead line being one example, but that's still as much as a pipe dream as it was when I was growing up in the town 30 years ago. We moved to Portishead 5 years ago and am surprised how many Rovers supporters are down here. The promised railway line from TM to Portishead would be fantastic but am not holding my breath!!! I grew up there and the majority of my family still live there. Whilst there's more City fans there there have always been Rovers fans too. I remember us only being slightly outnumbered when I was at school! My dads a ST holder but has no option than to drive to the Mem. Would be more difficult to drive and park around the FM but a rail line would make a massive difference but pretty much nobody can see if happening anytime soon!

Shame the rail network is pretty poor in parts of Bristol. It’s non existent in the north East corner of the city. Unless you bring the cycle path back which id be well in favour of! But cyclists less so much.

When I first moved out of Bristol I wondered what I was doing, but I have to say, where I am now, and what is happening with Bristol with buses and congestion charges, jumping on a train to Bristol or Bath is far easier than getting in when I lived in Bristol. Everything is much more convenient.

In the past there seemed to be the public saying give us a decent service and we'll use it whilst the authorities seemed to want to get people using a crap service then improve it should numbers dictate. I haven't lived in Bristol for a number of years so if this has changed please feel free to dismiss my comment. FM would guarantee users, provide something decent

If there's public demand, the BCC could open a tender I guess?

Just seems a good opportunity as the demand will be there. Chartered coaches, car share, cable car, boat from Hanham.

Interestingly there's talk of a park & ride near the M32 on today's Bristol Live, if that's ever built and has a frequent bus route passing the FM on match days then that would ally plenty of fans fears from that side of town, as my concern is how I get from the M32 to the FM cheaply and, reasonably, quickly.
