Rumoured to have agreed terms with a highly rated youngster from Monaco for 8M. We're just so far behind. The fact that they still care about us so much is shocking given how far ahead they are. But unless the club sort themselves out soon the rivalry will be gone. l1 to championship is massive gap and they need that transfer money to survive the wages must be massive,if they went up landsdowns money would be like peanuts It was nice to watch earlier it was like men v boys until Leeds took their foot off the pedal when 3 up They are millions off promotion and they won’t spend it Millions off? Getting closer and closer every season. A quick search on Google shows that Lansdown is worth more than 7 of the current premier league owners. They had players on loan from Chelsea and spent millions to secure them permanently. We had Bonham and Jakubiak on loan from Brentford and Watford and missed out on the permanent signing of both to Gillingham. The sooner people realise how far ahead they are and how it's only a matter of time before they get promoted the better IMO. These threads always come back on us |

The gulf between the clubs is enormous. We can only dream of losing to Leeds United. If a Bristol side is to be relegated this season, I know which one my money would be on. Likewise for promotion. They are a club on the up, selling and buying for multimillions. We are getting freebies from Walsall. Rumoured to have agreed terms with a highly rated youngster from Monaco for 8M. Finish top 10 in the championship in the modern game and you can command ridiculous prices for barely above average players. It’s as simple as that.
They are in the fortunate position to be able to do it. We can only hope little Lee makes a hash of the spends once more.

These threads always come back on us People don’t make these threads to make a comparison between the two clubs though do they? It’s pretty accepted that they have more resources than we do. They are started to poke fun at out of our nearest rivals losing. No need to turn it into what it isn’t. |

These threads always come back on us its not about us and them I’m talking about,if Wael spent money on the team we would be where they are Just cause landsdown has got the money he’s not going to spend it all on football,if he forked out for a good manager and spent well I agree I would be worried but that yes wee yes man they got won’t take them up If they had warnock or someone similar and didn’t sell players they would be right up there |

They've sold 2 defenders for 35Million this season alone. One of them was only with them for a season and the other only really broke into the first team a season or so ago. We lost our best young defender also captain who had made over 200 appearances over 8 years or whatever for free. Maybe , but since lansdown bought the sh** what 15 years ago or thereabouts with all his “ nobody will be talking about Bristol Rovers “ and “ we’ll be premier league “ all they’ve done is get relegated to league 1 and come back up. They’ve been in more relegation battles trying to stay out of the likes of us , bury , Walsall etc than they have trying to get in with Man UTD Chelsea etc. We’re punching above our weight by staying in league 1 for three consecutive seasons with the crap ground , facilities and aimless owners with little to spend where as lansdiwn has only relegations to league 1 and promotions back to the championship to show for all his billions wasted on that shower of franchise sh**e. Pathetic really, considering the likes of Watford , Bournemouth , Brighton etc can do it but multi billionaire lansdown hasn’t got a f**king clue what he’s doing and has turned our rivals in to an even more unlikable club in the form of a soulless franchise that are still standing still.[mbr]The funniest thing for me is that they think we’re jealous of them.😀 |

Even they can work out that they are only a very bad season away from us and we are only a very good season away from them! And if those two things happened in the same season we would be above them.
