Do we have a fire officer, we may need him today Pumps required HG? Seriously, monsoon conditions here yesterday between the odd bright spell. Been battering down all night, any better in Bristol?

Not raining here at the moment, ( 200 yards from the ground ). And the sun is making sporadic appearences through the clouds.

Thankyou Sir! forecast is for rain on and off up until kick off when there is a dry spell. It’s the South Westerly 46mph winds that could cause issues. Could be a long afternoon.

Storms predicted today with gale force winds and thunder/lightning a possibility. Pretty murky at the moment with the occasional rain shower

Wind, rain, lightning etc - could all come in handy if we are losing.

Weather will playa huge part today and gales will make it very hard for our creative ball players to impose our free flowing style on the game!, gonna be a dour battle of hoof ball I fear ,just hope we can nick a goal and somehow sneak 3 points! could have a scenario where we are winning and dirty tricks come into play like Wycombe fans pulling tent pegs out and canvas blowing across pitch getting match abandoned! come on Rovers gota be up for it whatever the conditions, come on you blues!

Aaah wycombe masters of the dark arts and at this level we can only hope the referee is the exception to the rule or he will just be putty in their hands!

When I flew back home a few weeks ago I didn’t even bring a jumper with me, because I stupidly thought it was supposed to be summer here! I’ve since borrowed a few jumpers but think I’m going to have a find a coat for today as well!

Game will be ruined by the conditions unfortunately which will play right into Wycombe’s hands, the pathetic diving, time wasting cheats.

Mah! Bit of wind, won’t stop the mighty gas machine today. Our great leader will send out his troops to battle and Instil in them the need to fight for every ball, never surrender, show passion and desire and ultimately our class will shine through.
Either that or we will boot it high and aimless into the wind hoping that our lightweight forwards somehow manage to find their shooting boots!
I’ll take a scrappy non-deserved late winner OG right now.

I don't think the weather will effect our creative players as much as you think. With their silky skills of precision through balls on the grass to TN will completely dominate the match with Tom ending up with a hatrick. 😷where are my meds. ........

The weather is fine in Bristol. The result was a blip last weekend at the seaside, this week though BRFC need to rip those Chairboys apart and show they do have the minerals to at least win most of their home games. WWFC are not likely to be soaring up the division, l imagine the Gas winning 3-1, come on, Utg

I like how the weathers becoming the excuse already, let’s hope the players don’t have the same mindset. It’s the same for both sides and whoever adapts to the conditions and is the best side on the day will win the game. Let’s just hope that’s us. UTG!!

If ever there was a day to get the ball on the grass and play some football, it's today.
Question is, are we good enough to do that? I think the players have the ability to do that, albeit with no creative central midfielder we lack the ability to play the killer pass. I'd like to see Upson in the side today as he does at least get it down and do the simple thing. 3-5-2 with Ogogo and Clarke as the dogs of war alongside him.
Jaakkola Davies Kilgour Craig Little Clarke Upson Ogogo Leahy Sercombe or Nichols JCH if fit but if not who knows!
Come on you Blues!
