We were f**ked and down until JHC came in Jan when we struck lighting a bottle with him.
We have not addressed our attacking play,or mainly the midfield.We are awlful.Its a disgrace that we did not make changes in this area,no excuse.

I’m usually a very positive person but this is difficult to watch today. I don’t know what we are trying to do out there attacking wise, we look clueless and devoid of any ideas. We don’t have a single player in the middle who can go past a player or inject a little bit of pace to drive us forward. We aren’t even doing the simple things with the ball, where is the little one twos or balls around the corner to get in behind their midfield? No movement, no pace and absolutely no confidence from our midfield today and I really hope we can sort this quickly Agreed, we are in deep trouble, who wants to pay money to watch that. I have never seen a team that is under so much pressure every time they touch the ball, this leads to rushed passes and long balls. |

If GC had been given a contract to the end of last season... Everyone would have been more than happy, he earned that right.
If we hadn't been silly and given him a 2.5yr contract I doubt GC would be manager at this point... Probably not even for the start of pre season.
Can we even afford to sack him

Not a shot on target very poor,Gialkeeper didn’t breed confidence for me,Impressed with Kilgour, the team to selection to me is just like putting square pegs in round holes,btw if we had natural width could have been a lot different.two home games next ... very vital for confidence must start winning

I like GCs passion and thought we matched Coventry for forty
Minutes today ... but overall we were awful.
I liked the line up apart from Sercombe but it ended up being same old crap.
I would try and clear out a few on loan including Bennett as he does very little same as Sercombe.
This current set up and tactics will see us relegated for sure ... maybe that is the AQs parting gift.

If you don't create chances, you don't score. It's been so obvious for a very longtime that a creative midfielder is needed. If our manager does not realise that I suggest he clears off now. The man brings in defender after defender and we still concede goals. No doubt we will get the same old " honest bunch of lads" aftermatch ramblings from him.doubt if he will provide us with anything to give us some hope. This is the main issue. 2-0 down and bringing on Nichols just shows the trouble we are already in even though it’s very early in the season. 3 games in and we haven’t looked like scoring. Relegation fodder. |

Okay JCH was a find, fair play, but the rest are not good value for money. If we get rid of GC the problem still remains that we can’t seem to get XI decent players together, they are mostly crap. I think we may need to go backwards to go forwards to establish a long term identity to the club. But fat chance of that when you are run by people who don’t want to be here. |
