This in-house pseudo-political civil war at the Gas is embarrassing and pathetic for all concerned. Just saying. Exactly. Just when you think things on the pitch are at a low ebb you then see two poisonous cliques gossiping in riddles like a bunch of needy schoolgirls. Grow up. The sooner a new broom is installed and sweeps this lot always the better as far as I am concerned. Sell the bloody club FFS. Exactly. Grown adults. Guys, please have a long look at yourselves in the mirror. I expect your kids and Grandkids would be embarrassed at your childish antics on here. Bury the hatchet or come out and do something useful if it's what the club needs. Quit this bullsh** crap on the forum. It's doing nobody any favours and frankly it's giving the club and Gashead's a bad name and making us look a bunch of needy spoilt brats.

Same destroyers at it again, poor Groundsman got a bollocking over this behaviour to prove you are right on a forum I'll file this under 'it never happened'. But for the record, I can safely say I've never spoken to him. In fact I doubt I'd know him if I walked past him in the street. But the saddest part is that Roady can't even get himself to condemn what is the worst breach of confidence that can occur at any football club. Moreso that it had to have come from someone at the very top.

This is really funny. Just look back at his posts. He is probably more critical of SH on here than even you He was even extremely supportive of the ALQs once upon a time.... So? Even I was at one time

Because the last manager signed players like Mensah (£1750 a week, which Maidenhead are not contributing to btw) Bennett (£4K a week) Craig (£3k a week) put duffers like Nichols and Sercs on 3 year contracts, Craig on 2 1/2 year contracts. GC is hamstrung to a degree because he has contracted players he probably doesn’t want but no one else does either because they are on good money here.
One football club chairman told me once that at L1 level you want all of your squad on flat money of around £2k per week with 2 year deals except your strikers as they get you goals. You should pay between £3 and £5k per week for them. The contracts for extension or break should always be in the clubs favour too. We seem to get to league one on a similar footing, good squad on sensible money and contracts and then start handing out stupid deals which never works for us. Trouble is that there is lots of agents now doing the negotiating so the power has shifted. For someone of your age, who is a 'business owner', I suggest the information you have imparted in this post is completely out of order. If the figures are true, then I am surprised that you obtained them, as it could only have come from someone at management level within the Football Club. In itself, that may not be a problem, but to put that information on a public forum which can (and is) regularly read by competitors, supporters, colleagues and agents is totally wrong. Employees contracts are private, and as a business owner I imagine you know that?, between the business owners and the employee. If the figures are an estimate then I do believe you should state that. If the figures are accurate, then whoever gave you the information should be ashamed of his/herself for allowing the information to become public knowledge, but not only that perhaps we should be informed on this forum who and what their terms of contract are? I am sure there are people who are happy for others to know what a wonderful salary they receive, but there are those who may not. On another matter, you seem to take delight in having a pop at me, and suggest that I am somehow in regular contact with Steve Hamer, well just to put the record straight, I have not spoken to SH this season, and the only word he has spoken to me was " Hi" as we passed in the corridor during the Wycombe match. Finally, the information I hold on what is going on behind the scenes affecting BRFC comes from outside the Football Club and unlike some (if the cap fits) I do not discuss details on public forums. Whats your remuneration package from the club John ?

Not £3,700 a week, not £4,300 a week but plain £4K. People on here know I work with football clubs and I’m also personal friends with a Championship manager (not the game!), a players contract is made up of so many things like bonuses. You are obsessed with the Al Qadi’s, what is your aim? Do you think you posting on here can achieve you aim? Get a girlfriend, take her to the cinema and go and wash Ken’s car, he’s got to drive you Tuesday night.

He was quite specific with Mensah's wage and that we are still paying it all even though he's on loan to another club.

If you're trying to make a point, just say it. If you're not trying to make a point, why post? 'Just asking' is plainly two-faced, mealy-mouthed, half-arsed, plausibly-deniable, rhetorical bullshit. Just saying. ahem post not poster mind

We seem to get to league one on a similar footing, good squad on sensible money and contracts and then start handing out stupid deals which never works for us. Trouble is that there is lots of agents now doing the negotiating so the power has shifted. I saw a comment earlier by this apostle, about a cancer eating at our club. Well, I think he has got it dead right, but is aiming at the wrong people. Just look at the players named above and what their salary levels are. It tells you all about what is wrong at this club. How does a bloke who runs a garage know what players are earning at our club? Well, he must have been told by one of a very small number of people at the club. So who at the club would know? Well, we can start with Wael, who is in charge of football matters, Starnes who is our CEO and responsible for the overall dealings of a financial nature, and the other one would be Gorringe if one of the others has disclosed the info. Now, if any of those mentioned the figures to 1981, they have breached every rule in the rule book, and have left the club vulnerable to civil recourse due to a breach of contract details. But of course, the best part is, why would anyone disclose details of a loan move to a non league club, and know the club is paying nothing towards his parent club? Why would that have formed a part of anyone's conversation? If any of the players mentioned read this thread, are they to assume that like our garage man, that he has been told this by one of the aforementioned, and now assume that this is how GC thinks about them? That should encourage them to perform from now on. I love the paragragh beginning 'one football club chairman told me once' etc. He tries to introduce a little mystery into things. It's obvious to me that who ever disclosed the salary details of our players to him, surely said that to him as well in the context of the disclosed salary levels. Finally, and to cap it all, he has a pop at DC for most of this. I sure as hell am no apologist for DC, I wanted him out long before he went. But how can you blame just him? Wael is in charge of all football matters. He must be, he has said it often enough. So DC could do nothing without the approval of Wael. But yet again, no having a pop at him. I know you sit in the box along side our president, but are you that worried he might have a go at you? One question 1981. How much do you earn? I could of course put your accounts on here, and though that wouldn't make us any the wiser, we could all chat about it. You happily say you pay for your seat in the box, and I'm pleased for you. But in your case it's almost a marketing exercise. You won't meet many people who own a Mercedes on the terraces, but I can think of one or two up in the gods that do. In fact at least one gets his serviced by your garage. So as I say, it's a good marketing ploy. And all for about a grand a season. Or it could have been someone from the SC , just saying like.

Maybe 81 was in executive hospitality. With Hani. What is so sad about this, is even the moderators are looking to defend the indefensible, namely each other. Maybe 1981 was at a wedding and not at the match. They stick together they do ~ very very clicky and a little too close if you get my drift. I understand they have special handshakes too
