The player ratings thread on this forum does not lie, he has been our worse player in every game this season. It should also be noted the number of contributors to this thread has increased considerably this season and in my opinion is a very fair reflection on players performances. Mmmmm, I still think i’d rely on the few managers he has played under & pick him consistently, over a few opinions on here. I don’t think we played well against 9, but we had a manager & an assistant on the sidelines, if they couldn’t get it across to the defence to push up & ‘wannabe’ captains Davies / Craig couldn’t manage it, then what chance Ollie? Still, there has to be a scapegoat & Nicolls wasn’t on long enough- or was he? Best I have see Upson play btw, but over the last 12 months I would pick Ollie over him any day. Got to agree with toddy, imo last nights game was like watching 2 teams playing each other from the lower half of the conference league, but the win was more important 🙏 thank god.

I thought we were good last night. Never in any danger, our keeper hardly touched the ball and our width gave us an attacking edge we've missed up to now. Only criticism was perhaps now putting the game to bed that bit earlier, but playing against 9 isn't as simple as it might seem. Well done Gas...I'd happily watch another 20 home performances like that this season.

Good report. We would’ve opened them up more but most passes to the wing backs especially Leahy were to feet not, enough balls in to space when we should’ve been stretching. Ball arriving at feet all the time took the pace out of our play. CM’s did better towards the end of the second half trying to tire them out them by switching but felt that we left it too late to run them ragged. Big improvement on Coventry even before the sending offs. Their big CB looked good and calm but not as good as ours. UTG
