Because that side had won the last 2 league games and Smith and JCH had linked up well. He rested the strikers in the cup game, but reverted back to the same team today. I can't recall Smith & JCH ever linking up well, Smith just looks a younger lighter weight version of Reilly, I just can't understand why he's starting games over our own striker who's now finally learnt how to score, we lost yesterday as we didn't score when we were on top for most of the second half. Smith's better than Reilly. He's only 20 ?? but maybe needs to rotate a bit with Nichols/Adebajayo while he's still finding his feet in L1. Nichols still had 20 mins to score so enough time. We have to do better to score away.

Smith layed the ball off for JCH in the box yesterday didn't he?? Keeper saved the shot and Leary missed the rebound. Against Cheltenham Smith set JCH up for a tap in. JCH scored 2 header's, Smith's movement created space in the box. Smith played well during the 2nd half yesterday and had scored more than Nichols this season and last season. He looks a lot better than Reilly. He forced the keeper into a good save yesterday. Maybe I dreamt all that link up lol. Nichols scored twice and suddenly he should start, even though we won 2 out of 2 with Smith and JCH up front.

Well I was there and we weren’t clinical enough and didn’t take our chances. That’s not unlucky or getting robbed it’s being not clinical enough. Just felt we weren’t gonna score if we were there til midnight I wasn’t there but that we was robbed is churned out every week by loads of fans who have seen their side play well not take their chances and lose. It’s all about putting it in the back of the net more times than them and we lost two nil. That’s not robbed it’s being less clinical than the opposition. To be fair last season under Cogs we were often outplayed in the middle of the park but scrapped wins and draws to keep us up. I know and what annoys me a little bit is that graham continually bangs on about the only way to change bad luck is working hard yet he continually says we have a hard working bunch and great bunch of lads. I’d rather we just were a bit ruthless and for me that comes with skill more than hard work
