Jakkola.7. Flapped early on playing us into trouble.Kicking good and made some good saves.Wrong end to see the goals so not sure if he was at fault. Davies.8 MOM.Superb. Craig.6. Kilgour.7. Constantly fouled by O Toole.Tough day against their quality number ten. Hare. 7 Bunny did well and looked composed. Clarke. 7 Played a hard and committed game but doesn't have enough real quality. Upson. 7.Did well but would like to see him more involved. Ogogo.7.Battled well but like Clarke lacks genuine quality. Leahy.5 .OK but nothing special.Missed a sitter. Smith 3 .Very weak.No strength on the ball and easily dispossessed. Clarke-Harris.7. On his own too often. Nichols.7. Did far more in his cameo than Smith did Adeboyejo.NOLE. Ref .OK but bit of a homer and allowed OToole to constantly commit serious fouls at corners.5. Crowd.Small and home crowd not exactly vociferous.Gasheads.Great to see so many in my adopted County.

Jaakkola 6 why do most of his kicks go to tiny Smith and not JCH
Davies 7 Craig 6.5 Kligour 7.5 quality young player (best player in first half)
Hare 7 Clarke 6 let ball get away from him a fair few times (and in good positions) Upson 7.5 very good game Ogogo 7 Leahy 6 Looked from the side like he missed a sitter in 2nd ( he's missed some chances in last few games)
Smith 6 missed a good chance first half Clarke-Harris 7
Subs: Nichols 6.5 Adeboyejo too short
Crowd 7 Ref 6 Burton 7 Very frustrating result. Burton had the edge first half but we were on top for most of the second. Leahy should've scored and a few balls just didn't quite fall for us. Our corners (we had so many in 2nd) are too predictable. From looking like winners or at minimum 0 - 0 we got done. Akins clearly their best player scored out of nothing. Much better than Coventry but would like us get the ball down and play from the first minute instead of taking 30 mins to warm up !

Jaakkola 6: Can’t so much about either goal. Criticism about kicks probably fair. Didn’t actually have too much to do. Davies 7 Craig 7 Kilgour 7: Same for all the defenders. Solid for most of the game, restricted them well. Will need to watch the first goal back to see who is at fault, Second purely a result of throwing men forward. Still maybe need to be more of a threat at Corners.
Hare: 7 up and down for much of the game but didn’t ever quite provide that killer chance Leahy: 7 similar story to Kilgour. Much better with the freedom given by this formation. Some people claiming he missed a sitter, was right in front of me and it came at him very quickly which makes it difficult for him. Ogogo: 7 been a much improved player last few games. Passing the ball well. Upson: 8 tackled hard and controlled the ball for us in the middle Clarke 7: played the ball well and tackled hard but does need to be careful as he was perhaps lucky to not get a second yellow
Smith 6: Seems to always put himself about well but didn’t drop in the right place, though he did miss a couple of potential chances in the first time JCH 7: Always does something with the ball, created a great chance at the end but somebody should have finished it off
Subs: Nichols 7: Maybe should have done better when put through, though a good recovery challenge from the defender, and maybe should have gambled on the JCH knockdown at the end. Still ran hard and deserves to start next Saturday. Adeboyejo: NOLE

I was interested in whether GC would change format from last two league matches to affect an away performance in Beech pub. No such thought. We put in another strong performance for 87 mins and peppered their goal with shots (21 of them) and crosses. GC got most things right, we deserved a draw all day long but went for it and it didn't work.
I like that players play well, we keep the consistency to try again.
Didn't work this time but we are looking decent in defence and can counter quickly.
We need to work on set pieces and decision making of the last ball.....on this performance nothing to worry about we should be ok to stay in this division.
Jaakkola 7.5 good save and decent kicking.
Davies 8 just getting consistently brilliant. Craig 7 unfortunately he let m o m turn and shoot. One mistake punished. Kligour 8.5 m o m everywhere. Even had a shot.
Hare 7.5 another shining performance. Clarke 7 strong. Upson 7 decent. Ogogo 8 best of mid. Leahy 7 some wayward crossing.
Smith 6.5 ran hard but headless chicken. Clarke-Harris 6.5 didn't use his attributes to the best.
Subs: Nichols 6.5 no real impact. Adeboyejo nole.
Crowd 5 another sub 3000 club out performs us!(?) Ref 5 homer (that wasn't a homophobic remark). Burton 6.5 an average 3rd division side filled with sized individuals and one dirty bar steward JJ...

Results in and Tom Davies was Man of the Match with a score of 7.85.
This was Davies' third MotM of the season (second in the league) more than any other player so far.
This was the highest MotM score in a defeat since Jack Bonham's 7.95 at home to Walsall last season.
The starting XI average was 6.80. This is the second highest ever for a defeat in these threads. The only defeat rated higher was at Sheffield United in 16/17 which rated at 7.01. Only 14 drawn games have ever rated higher as well.
Jaakkola 6.8
Davies 7.9 Craig 6.9 Kilgour 7.4
Hare 6.9 Clarke 6.2 Upson 7.3 Ogogo 6.9 Leahy 6.4
Smith 5.3 Clarke-Harris 6.5
