No salary cap problems for team just finishing their 3rd administration. They have signed a few player's on loan so far. Although there is a tweet that shows the company that have taken over, have taken out 2 £20 million loans. Not sure if it's genuine. Is this for real?! Bankrolling the club with 40millions worth of loans?! I don’t even know where to begin with that. It seriously goes to show that f- all has been learnt and ‘Football Ventures’ are betting big on getting back to the championship and paying all that off. In some ways I hope it all goes wrong because it will be equal parts hilarious and pathetically sad to see Bolton with another 3 or 4 12 point deductions, bottom of the league on -72 points as they fall out of the league and out of business for good.

f**k Bolton! And f**k the EFL! Cheating bastards the lot of em. Absolute f**king disgrace. Bolton could still be promoted at this rate. If they don't get hit with a minimum of another 12 point punishment then it's a joke. They should have been placed in a transfer embargo, unable to sign any players (even out of contract), in order to ensure a level playing field for those that already got a free 3-points and +5 goal difference. Disgrace. Not a great situation, but teams just got lucky with the fixtures. You can't stop them signing player's, unless you are going to stop every club signing player's. If we got took over, like many predicted, would we be saying it's unfair, if we were signing player's. Don't think they will go up, they can only play 5 loan player's at a time. They won't be as bad as they were, but I doubt they will gel quickly and be able to get enough players in by 5pm.

Are we not fancying ourselves to finish above a team we are already 18 points ahead of? I'm not worried about that, what I'm unhappy with is the free 3 points and 5 goal bonus that the teams that have already played them have got, which we won't get.
The EFL should never have allowed them to play games with that few senior players signed on, know that the situation would end up changing.

What's interesting (If it's true) is that it's at 4% interest PA, repayable in 3 years.
I don't think the loan is the issue as such. As you say plenty of club owners do it including Rovers.
What's more a problem that given all the fuss about proper owners and such, the rumoured repayments, don't exactly scream steady pair of hands, or long term interest in the club. Obviosly the EFL should have more details than the rumours on the internet, but going on those assumptions doesn't seem like the EFL have done much to make sure Bolton are going to be alright going forward. What if they go down again?

Clubs signing the premier league under 23 players are probably having their wages covered by their parent clubs. But there is no guarantee that a player who has been wrapped in cotton wool for the majority of his career is a dead cert to rock up and perform on a wet Tuesday night at Accrington Stanley, especially if the parent club insist that he plays a part in every game too.

Bolton actually have to sign players, they had barely any senior pros. It's not Bolton's fault, it's the EFL. We shouldn't have got to the end of August before this was all sorted either way. Clubs should have to apply for licences every year like they do in Germany. If they're not solvent, they don't get a licence and are punted in July.

can’t believe we haven’t signed any creative players from last season when that was so obviously what we needed. This team is gonna need are full support so let’s get behind the lads and hope we’re still in league 1 next season.

I guess this is the first real proof the ALQ's have lost interest in the club, I still can't get my head around why we've got 4 decent FB's but no creative CM. Agree Topper. Our team is very mediocre and away form a real worry.20 minutes to go!!!

I wouldn’t be surprised to see us sign a loan centre half on loan or a midfielder on loan as cover. I’d like both but reckon we might get one.
