Why do song ideas on here never transfer to the terraces? Well we really only have two songs that can be heard at the Mem, Goodnight Irene and When the Gas go marching in. The former dates from the 50's (nicked from Plymouth) and the latter from the mid 60's and we tend to copy versions of songs from the Premier League Clubs. It seems that the thatchers is conservative and stuck on repeat which is a shame because the early Tote End was quite inventive. |

Why do we always make up football chants to something from the 60s that no one under 40 would know the tune to?! At least try and use a track by Kylie Minogue and you might have some support... Hahaha. To be fair I’ve just hit my 30s and I can’t think of any Kylies which would work. 60s club? |
