Dam great. Our star player injured the week we weren't even playing. Sounds like Rovers.

Can’t we postpone games until he’s fit? Bolton have set a precedent after all.

The question needs to be asked. Why the hell was he training when we were told he was in the office negotiating a new contract?

This 2 week enforced break should have been a period to get over knocks and niggles - not go out and get injured ffs! Having said that, and from what I've seen on highlights this season and in the flesh at the end of last season, he always looks like he is carrying an injury - probably from the effort he puts in during games. Hopefully it isn't too serious and he is getting good rest, great treatment, etc etc to ensure he comes back fit and without a risk of breaking down again.

It has to be turned into a positive in my view. We all know that it's unsustainable to rely on one man so much, so this is a good chance to show how good we *really* are and whether we are in a false position simply due to the JCH effect.
He won't be with us much longer the way he is carrying on so the next 5 weeks will be a chance to show that life goes on if he leaves in January.

He was doing calf stretches in the second half of the last game. He was and if I remember rightly at one point he was flat on his back with Tyler stretching his calf out
