I think we need to start adeboygo while he’s out for sure. Nichols and smith are both decent players but the way we play starting with those two won’t get us anywhere. Either that or try something a bit different but that’s unlikely to happen as Coggers seems to have found his formation and style.

That's always been the case since the new loan system was put in place. Back to JCH, why do contract talks now have to be put on hold as he's out injured for 5 weeks? It's annoying he's strained his calf in training when he was clearly struggling with it in the Rotherham game, assuming it's the same one. No idea why the EP reporter would think talks should go on hold. I’d have thought this would be the perfect time to complete negotiations. The report suggests a significant strain rather than a tear so not sure why it should be 5 weeks out - I wouldn’t want to rush him back if not 100% but hopefully he’ll be back a bit earlier than predicted. It’s the EP...known for crap reporting and reporting crap. I mean they even listened to a few insiders to write something on the fruit market against the owners of the club in which then those same insiders claimed it was a statement from the consortium. There’s better information on a piece of toilet paper post arse wipe.

Just give him time and decent crosses.

Good time for us to see how we’ll fare without him after the January window.
Sadly think it’ll be a massive blow.

MK Dons got 4 strikers out Healy Mason Agard Nombe out 0f 6 and Poole Cargill Reeves in defence . Nombe just got 4 in 6 goals and will be out to January. I hope this don't bite us back !

I think we’ve just about got enough fire power to get through the next month, I don’t normally like the idea of rushing players back, but in the case of JCH I can!

I thought Victor looked very sharp when he came on against Rotherham. It would be great if he upgraded his performances while Jonno is out.

This time next month we’ll be arguing that JCH shouldn’t go straight back into the squad after Tommy Nichols and Big Vic have scored 10 goals between them! Um,no we won't be saying that. If they score 10 goals between them in the rest of their combined careers, I'll be really surprised.

This could turn out to be a good thing.
Our run of next games still favours us, and we do look like scoring from other places in our team apart from JCH.
Say we pick up some decent results without him,at least he will not scoring the goals that keep us winning and this may put off any clubs putting any silly bids in for him in January that we cant turn down.
It takes him out of the shop window so to speak..

Why write off Adeboyejo who hasn't had a proper chance to get a run of games yet and whose looked promising in the brief time that he has got? It annoys me how quick we are to dismiss young loanees at this club at times, just look at Jakubiak who's doing well at Gillingham.

A big loss but he looked to be struggling towards the end of the last few games. In fact, quite a few games this season he has been struggling by the end but that could also be due to the fact he missed the whole of pre season so maybe there was a high chance of him getting injured.
Being out may prevent other teams from looking at him but we thought the same when Bodin got injured similar time of the season then we sold him just after he came back from that injury!

This could well put off potential buyers. He's only had one season 5 years ago where he made more than 30 appearances (for Rotherham). Could be injury prone or maybe just not picked. The last few matches last season he was struggling and has not looked fully fit this season - but he's been doing what he's paid to do. GC is being a tad unlucky with injuries to THD, Littlle, Hare and now JCH - four important players in a relatively small squad.. Time for someone to step up and make a name for himself.

I doubt a player straining his calf will put clubs off, plus a Championship club won't need to play him every game. He does seem to have been struggling with a calf injury for most of his time he's been at the club, lets hope resting it does the trick and he doesn't need an op.

At least these 5 weeks without JCH will give us valuable insight on how life will be like from 2nd Jan if we don't spend the £200k wisely....
