Bloody Nichols. Dropped and we're still losing!

It looked like he was crying from where I was sitting, but if you can say he definitely wasn't, then fair enough. He obviously cares even less about his performances than I thought. Oldgas are you saying he's DELIBERTELY playing badly? Have you never wanted to do something but wasn't able to? No, of course not. What I am saying that he doesn't really seem to care. I base this on his reaction when he missed the penalties at Northampton and Doncaster, and when he missed the open goal against Bolton. His reactions indicated that he couldn't give a flying.

That isn't not caring, it's a lack of confidence.

So what did either of the front two offer today that Tom Nichols (note the spelling Bananaman) doesn't?

So what did either of the front two offer today that Tom Nichols (note the spelling Bananaman) doesn't? If either had been offered the opportunity of a penalty or an open goal I’m sure they wouldn’t have missed lol Pretty confident of that in fact

So what did either of the front two offer today that Tom Nichols (note the spelling Bananaman) doesn't? This is the point. Playing tactics that suit JCH when he isn't there is nonsense. We had one shot on target today, we're hopeless.

So what did either of the front two offer today that Tom Nichols (note the spelling Bananaman) doesn't? Nichols, no bottle, no strengt, no first touch and not enough goals in 80+ games.

I get that you're desperate to defend GC, so I'm glad you're happy. Have a nice evening.

Not really -he just happens to be the current Rovers manager but I think some supporters like you keep banging the drum that we are crap but you don't back it up with anything. We didn't hit high balls to the forwards today - we played it to feet.

I know I vent my frustration which probably doesn't help, but I really can't see how you think today or Tuesday were any good. Yes I dislike GC because of our style of play, but even if it was DC or Guardiola I'd be unhappy at how we performed. I'm not on here to make enemies, obviously I was jumping around with the best of them when that equaliser went in.

Couldn’t see where a goal was coming from.

We had one shot on target today, we're hopeless. Agreed. That’s what I was just saying on another thread. Playing 8 defensive players and hoofing it to JCH got us to 3rd but since he got injured we’ve dropoed down to mid table playing the same formation and style.. We only looked anything other than crap today once we changed it to 442 and used the width more and passed it about. We’re good enough to finish around mid table without JCH but not if we play the tactic that works with him but not without.

Surely Moore can't be any worse as an option just to hold the ball upfront? Although if we were going to concede two goals though the middle of our defence then what's the point in playing with 3 central defenders.

I think TN's world is slowly falling apart around him. It may not have been the crowd that broke him, but his fellow players and coaching staff at half time. If you don't hold onto the ball, expect to be roasted by those who have won it and passed it to you. Defenders especially, will remind higher paid strikers of this at every opportunity. The dressing room can be a daunting place when people start finger pointing. Who knows, maybe GC had said "you've got 15 mins this half to show me you can hold onto the ball....." He then sees his number on that board. The only bit of advice I could give TN, is "what doesn't kill you, just makes you stronger" Forgive my bluntness but that stupid saying is utter bollocks. , same a the leopard not changing its spots
