Hasn't kicked on and progressed as much as I thought he would. Still young, but might struggle to earn another extension to his contract. We'll see.

I'd be amazed if he was here beyond his current contract. Hasn't shown anything to suggest he is anywhere near league standard, sadly.
Players will go out to make room for new signings and I would think Deon would be the first to go.

The Club can confirm that Deon Moore has left the Club following the conclusion of his contract.
The striker, who joined the Gas in August 2018, made two appearances for the first-team.
This season, Deon spent time on loan at Billericay Town and also featured during our Leasing.com Trophy victory over Chelsea's U21s. We would like to thank Deon for all his efforts and wish him the best of luck for the future.

Weird, GC was raving about him at the start of the season wasn’t he? From what I've heard from a staff member at the club, it was his attitude that let him down. Back in the summer he thought he was the next big thing when he was no where near ready for first team football.

Whilst we are on the subject of Development Team Strikers. What's happened to Rhys Kavanagh?
Was supposed to be really highly rated when we paid a fee to Newport County for him a couple of years ago and he turns 22 this year yet he's seemingly nowhere near the first team?

We gave him an opportunity to resurrect his career and he’s not taken it. Shame as I thought he could have potential but ability is just a small part of what makes a good pro.

Correct decision. Bye bye Deon.
Seems a lot of movement in Gas Towers this week.
