Jaakkola 6 spilt one shot but other than that was competent,a good save early on. Davies 4.5 worst game since joining the club. Craig 4 totally out of sorts, at fault with the second goal. Kilgour 4,5 lots of mistakes but he's still learning the game. Rodman 5 did his best when all others were failing in a position thats not natural to him. Upson 4.5 last seasons Upson, lets hope its a one off. Ogogo 5.5 Indifferent but far better than the other midfielders Clarke 3.5 an awful game, Kelly 3 got taken apart by the Bolton right side, we have two poor left backs and one good left back who is never fit. Nichols 2 why the hell does the manager prolong his torture by playing him, ? Adeboyejo 6 M.o.M. Battled bravely receiving no service, showed good strength ,he never gave up. Subs: Smith 4 ran around a lot but didnt make much difference Bennett N.o.L.e which was just as well as he didnt look that interested. Crowd 6 tried to lift the team but it was a lost cause. Ref 5 average Bolton 6 Christmas came early for them, if they could play us every week they might stay up but other teams wont be so charitable. |

Bolton 7 (9 for their crowd. All that way on a Tuesday night to support a team on -8pts. Made twice as much noise as us and to a man/woman took part in the minutes applause)
GC 3 - You can get away with dull defensive performances when you come away with a 1-0 victory but not when you're losing at home to a team that hasn't won since March.

My own opinions of the game:
Jaakkola 5 A couple of decent saves, but also parried a shot straight to one of their players who missed an open goal
Davies 5 Didn't know whether to get tight or drop off and as a result often did neither
Craig 4 Never got to grips with Daryl Murphy
Kilgour 5 Same as Davies
Rodman 5.5 I thought he played well
Upson 3 Some absolutely shocking passes
Ogogo 4 Best of a poor midfield
Clarke 3 Similar to Upson with less egregious errors
Kelly 5 Decent in the first half, missing in the second
Nichols 2.5 Poor
Adeboyejo 6 Kept going and worked our best chances out of nothing
Subs: Smith 4.5 Almost worth saying NOLE as he was given very little chance to get on the ball
Bennett 4.5 Same as Smith

Kilgore,3 golden boy was poor and I hope he's learned a huge lesson from it.

Upson, 3 did he make a pass to a team mate?

Kelly, 4 difficult to come in for your first game when the team are playing white.
Nichols, 0.5
Alex, 3 nothing much to play with but not good enough.

Results in and Anssi Jaakkola was Man of the Match for the second game in a row, with a score of 6.27.
Tom Nichols set a new record for the LOWEST EVER RATING in any game in these threads. His 1.41 beats the record of Stuart Sinclair's 1.50 in the Barnet FA Cup away game last season (*he got a red card after 7 minutes). The previous low in a league game was Tom Parkes' 1.64 at home to Newport in 15/16. Nichols own previous worst was a 1.8 away to Shrewsbury in 17/18.
As well as Nichols; Upson, Bennett, Kelly, Kilgour, Davies and Smith all recorded their lowest ever scores in this game.
The starting XI average was 3.96. It is the lowest in a league games since a 2.8 away to Shrewsbury in 17/18.
