That goal was never a goal though guys, whilst he was clearly onside I do believe that JVS stopped as the whistle clearly went - just watch how he stopped. I also think Craig (was it?) stopped trying to block it on the line as he heard the whistle and you see him look over at the linesman. Whistle must have gone off before he even got past JVS ffs.
However, it was onside and it's a shocking call from the linesman - but if the whistle didnt go then I think we would have stopped it.
Leahy freekick - wtf was that?
I really have to question what Nichols brings to this game though - his passing is mostly awful, always offisde, doesn't seem to win any ball and doesn't close down defenders. They're also much too physical for him. Adebayajo needs to come on IMO.
Not sure how Micheal Bush for Bromley isn't on a yellow either, the bloke must have commited 3/4 fouls by taking our players out from behind, yet the referee just keeps giving him a talking to.
Bromley look a very good side though, they play some good stuff. Haven't really noticed Agogo in this game tbh

Gas on top although Bromley have look the better side in the last 5-10 minutes, some of Rovers free kicks have been baffling. Expect a rampant Bromley at the start of the 2nd half and hope we hit them on the break. I would replace Nichols with Smith. Rovers had had the majority of the play. Viewing via BT.

Their number 10, Hackett-Fairchild looks decent. I thought that the majority of their side looked as good as most of our players in the first game. That didn’t surprise me though , they’re top of the conference and think back to us in our conference season we had Taylor , Harrison , Bodin , Brown , lines, etc quality players and we were building momentum towards great things . Bromley come across as a similar side. We play a very poor to watch style of football under Coughlan that grinds out results and he’s been great at getting those results but Bromley were certainly better on the eye. |

Nichols has had a shocking game, keeps losing the ball and hasn't done much else but to be fair none of the attackers have been much better.
Rodman on now so hopefully that gives us something more in attack, otherwise Bromley will surely go on to get an equaliser.

We have been good at winning free kicks. Wise old owls such as Tony Craig drawing the foul everytime.
Unfortunately there's a bit more to the game than that.
